Chapter 556 - Lears Breaking Point

Chapter 556 - Lears Breaking Point

Chapter 556: Lear's Breaking Point

Venue Point Hotel, Trinity.

Max didn't realize when Elly took off his blindfold and the next thing he knew was her eyes staring into his own.

Elly seemed to have forgotten in frustration that the blindfold wasn't just there for fashion. She just wanted to look Max into the eyes while holding a conversation and this thing was extremely annoying her. In the end, her hand unconsciously moved in anger and she pulled the damn thing off when Max turned his head away instead of properly replying her.

"I had enough of this, look me in the eye and tal-" Elly was about to berate Max in anger but half a way through, her words froze when she saw the pink hue in Max's eyes and a strange feeling welled up in her heart.

"..."

Time seemed to have stopped in that moment for both her and Max and the two continued to stare at each other before Elly unconsciously leaned towards Max and the disaster struck.

….

On the other side…

Janet had just gotten fresh and walked towards Elly's room to find her before planning to go out and have a breakfast with the rest of the people. But when she arrived in her room, Elly wasn't there at all.

'Did she went down already?'

Janet got out of the room and went towards Max's room to call him out.

The door wasn't locked so she easily stepped inside and entered the hall room. They were given the most luxurious rooms to stay so there was actually quite a lot of space inside. You could practically live here with a family of five with each person having their own room.

"He isn't here.." She looked in the bedroom towards the left but didn't find Max instead, she found his phone and blindfold lying around on the bed. So, she picked it up and went looking in for him.

But as soon as she got closer to the master bedroom, a strange sound entered her ears.

'What is this muffled noise?' She muttered inwardly with a frown on her face and her hand which were about to knock on the door of the bedroom suddenly stopped.

"Uh~"

"Ahh~"

"Huff~"

Her face suddenly started to change colors when she realized that the voice belonged to a guy and a girl it turned red. She obviously understood what those kinds of sound meant. Her face immediately changed and disbelief covered her features.

Her innocent little brother..

Crack!

Max's imaged in her mind shattered.

And with her hands on her mouth, she immediately got out of the place still in shock. Her face had turned flushed and her breathing was uneven. It was probably one of the biggest shock that she had received in her life until now.

'Max…no..it must be that girl! She had been eying Max all along. It must have been her who seduced my innocent brother..' She muttered inwardly as she sat outside and cried with a depressed look for not being able to guard her brother's Chasity. How was she supposed to face her Aunt, Lithiya now?'

At this moment, the phone in her hand rang.

Janet looked at it and it the name of the person contacting spelled Lear. It was Max's phone after all.

She hurriedly wiped her face and picked it up, "Hello?"

"Why the hell are you not responding in the chat? What's going on there?" Lear's agitated voice sounded through the other end.

"Max is not here, I am Janet.." Janet replied while sniffing.

"Where in hell is he? What's going on there?" He asked in frustration getting a bit louder.

"M-Max..he.." Janet's sobbing voice couldn't have been any more apparent to Lear.

…..

Orca Academy, Capital

Lear sat on the couch with a frown on his face. He was covered in bandages all around and beside him were the rest of the team members who were eliminated and now shared a pretty similar to him appearance.

Only seven members were missing here who were Axel, August, Valko, Mark, Rias, Beli and Kevin. They were still inside and aside from them, everyone was eliminated one way or the other during the last plan.

Wilson too got unlucky.

After he had exhausted everything in defeating Nathan, the structure below collapsed and before he was buried to death, the white light send him out.

Currently, Lear was on his phone and the frown continued to deepened as he talked with the person on the other end. And when he heard Janet's sobbing voice, it immediately send his stress level shooting through the sky.

"M-Max..he.."

"What happened to him?" He asked nervously.

"H-He got played by a witch," Janet said while sobbing. She knew that Lear was one of Max's trusted and well wishing friend. So, she decided to confide in him hoping that he would try to help Max out.

"What?" Lear was clearly taken back, he wasn't expecting that at all. Hell, he didn't even understand what she was trying to say.

"A lady seduced him, I couldn't protect his innocence…"

When she said that again, Lear couldn't hold himself back.

"Pfft!"

He let out a laughter immediately attracting everyone's attention.

"Its life, terrible things can happen, you just need to move on," He tried to console her while barely holding himself back.

'Poor girl..' Lear sighed inwardly. She not only caught Max in action but was even heart broken at her innocent brother losing his Chasity.

"Pfft!" He broke out in laughter. It was just damn too funny.

Well, one thing was for sure though. If Max was enjoying his time then that meant there shouldn't be any problem for now. He could finally calm down and relax.

"Who is the damn girl that seduced him by the way?" Lear couldn't keep his curiosity in check. How could he let this opportunity to have a card up on Max go?

"She said her name was Lesia Rex.." Janet replied with a dejected voice.

But her words immediately wiped the smile off of Lear's face.

Wasn't Lesia Rex the alias that his mother currently was using?

The realization struck him like thunderbolt stopping his heart for a few second and his body began to heat up and sweat as his stress level broke through the sky reaching the upper dimension properly.

'N-No! Calm down! This isn't possible! Mom wouldn't do that and Max wouldn't too…there must be some kind of misunderstanding here.' Lear immediately shook his head. He would rather accept death then accepting this fact.

"You probably are having some misunderstanding. I am sure you had seen something wrong." Lear told her as his body got drenched in sweat.

"No, I don't think so. From the moment we met, she seemed oddly interested in Max," Janet denied it strongly.

"No! There has to be some f*cking misunderstanding here!" Lear screamed in anger and it immediately scared Janet as well as the people around him.

"Wait a second.." Janet decided to prove it.

She had walked out of the place and was currently in the hallway outside near the main door to enter the suite. She quietly opened the door and didn't go inside like last time but just put her hand with the phone inside.

The two inside were being too loud now. If one put an ear on the door, they could probably make their voices out even at this distance from the master bedroom.

When Lear heard it his entire being turned ice cold but the worst was still to come.

"When I went inside to one of the bedrooms, I saw Max's phone and blindfold around but I didn't have the courage to knock on the door of the room that the two were in." Janet's words were like a sledgehammer which smashed Lear ice cold sculptor to pieces.

He only heard till blindfold and his body stopped functioning properly.

Lear knew why Max was wearing a Blindfold and he as a guy had tasted its power first hand.

And now what if his mom somehow came across Max without a blindfold?
