Chapter 582: End of the Orca Competition
Melinda looked at Max and sighed inwardly. He had used an extreme method that he spoke of. Now, it was on them how they handled the situation and got out of it. It was sure they would be receiving some kind of loss due to the backlashes from this decision, it might even be severe.
But, they could definitely.....no they had to finish the rivalry between the two houses using this chance.
"I will kill you, Barnes!" Roman screamed in anger.
"You idiot, do you think this situation is beneficial to me? I am going to face the same problem that you do, once I return," Ander retorted in anger.
""Enough you two!" Melinda shouted at the two and got them to let go off each other's collar. "Do you only know how to use your hands? Are you barbarians? Even kids are watching, can't you be a bit more civilized." Melinda scolded the two.
Ander couldn't help, but sigh when he heard about the kid in the room. Only Max was here, and this kid was the one responsible for all of this. And, yet he stood there blinking his eyes acting all innocent.
This could really make one cry.
"Mom! What's going on?" Lora entered the room, with others. It was obvious that they had heard the screams and came to check.
Lesia, who entered the room, froze when her eyes fell on the television. She saw the news and immediately realized that the man was Ander in disguise, 'What's going on? Is he here for me? Does he know about me?'
She was obviously confused, but then she shook her head, 'No, it's not possible, even father couldn't see through my disguise much less him.'
It then left her hanging there. She couldn't understand what was going around at all.
"Lora, take your friends to the guest room. It would be better if they did not leave for today," Melinda said and then asked the Butler to help them out.
There were definitely reporters coming out to get them. If they saw these people from different houses and started any other thing, that would really be the cherry on the cake.
And, Melinda definitely wouldn't want that.
Max turned around to leave along with Lora as well. But unfortunately for him, he wasn't allowed to.
Melinda grabbed him and revealed a pleasant smile on her face while staring at him. "Why don't you stay for a while?"
Max suddenly had a bad feeling about it. And, he was right about it. You can outwit anyone, but Melinda. She held grudges after all. Now that Max had used her to put his plan in action, it was her turn to do the same.
And, she had even come up with the plan and was pretty confident about it.
…
Orca Academy, Capital.
The next day arrived and the event was finally over. The few remaining students finally walked out of the competition ground and cheers erupted at the Arena where the event was being broadcasted live.
"Ah! Finally out!' Axel stretched his body out. It had been a week, but he felt like years had passed.
Erina was right behind him, with not so good expression on her face. She didn't have a good time in the competition and the same was for her team. It was very likely for them to not make into the top upper half.
"Hmmn?" Axel suddenly noticed that a few students were carrying the dummies along with them. This made him realize that they were supposed to have those too. But, weren't all those things in Max's spirit world?
As for where Max was?
Well, he was kind of eliminated….
The realization immediately made him curse inwardly. They were doomed! Those thousands of points!
This was so unfair!
He really wanted to cry now!
"Thud!"
Axel suddenly felt an impact on his back and turned his head to see Erina colliding into his back.
"Don't suddenly stop mid way," Erin said with a frown.
"Don't you have eyes as well?" Axel retorted and as he tried to move, he felt a slight tug from behind which was accompanied with a painful squeak from Erina.
"Ouch!"
Axel turned his head again to see Erina with her face on his back. "What the hell are you doing?"
"My earring got stuck on our jacket." She said in frustration, "Why in hell do you have to wear such type of clothes?"
"It's my choice! Now, just get that thing out," Axel replied with a frown. "And, why do you even wore an earring? Where you out on tour?"
"Hmph! It's my choice!" Erina retorted in anger.
The people around in the distance looked at the two and smiled.
Even the Arena which was broadcasting the live footage erupted in meaningful cheers. After all, to the people seeing it from far away, it only looked like that the two were just being love birds.
…
"That guy..." The remotes in Wilson's hand snapped, scaring the Lear and Eren around. The two couldn't help but gulp in fear.
Lear had been afraid ever since he heard from Eren that Wilson was sharpening the knife yesterday night for some reason.
He was just hoping not to see any blood being spilled today, at least no any of his for sure.
''Where in hell did the headmaster go? Why isn't he here when we need him?' Lear muttered inwardly and sighed.
"Shouldn't we plan on how to react? I mean we aren't going to plan when he begins beating Axel, are we?" Eren suddenly asked Lear.
"Right, let's do one thing. If he takes out a knife, then you go first and hold him down while I support you." Lear said with a serious look on his face, "And, if he goes bare handed, then you go first and hold him down while I support you."
Eren frowned, "What's the difference between the two?"
"Are you an idiot? He is armed and unarmed. It's two different cases," Lear retorted.
"Yeah, right..wait no..how-"
"Ssshh!" Lear interrupted him with a shush, "You ask too many questions, just do as I say."
Before Eren could say anything else, Lear walked out of the room.
