Chapter 757 - Might Of An Ascensionist

Yule Family, Ocien.

Old man Sun, who had been on his desk until now, finally stretched his hands up, and then slowly got up as he finished his work.

"Should I give it a look now…" He muttered to himself and the next moment, his figure disappeared, and he was suddenly up above in the night sky, looking down on the city.

"A lot of people's aura has vanished. It seems they have hidden themselves very well.." The Old man muttered with a smile. He had been keeping his eyes on things, and he could definitely tell that a lot of strong aura's which he could feel prior to the arrival of people from the Ancient families were no longer visible.

"Let's see if there is anyone worth my attention." A smile appeared on his face, as an invisible aura shot out of his body in every direction, and covered the Ocien in an instant.

Currently, there was nothing hidden to the Old man.

He could tell everything, from the location of a pebble to the number of hairs on a person's head.

This was the observational power of an Ascensionist.

As the Old man continued to search, a little frown emerged on his face. He could indeed clearly see everything, but there was no sign of Rihanna anywhere.

To be clear about her energy traits, Synthia had passed on a crystal containing Rihanna's energy to the Old man. So, he was sure that there was no trace of Rihanna around.

This really left him in confusion.

He could feel quite a few low level Demons around mixed within the general public. And, aside from that, he could also sense a lot of people with strong fluctuations once again. Even though they seemed to be humans, there was a chance of High tier Demons being mixed within them.

Aside from that, there were several large-scale concealing formations all around the city at different places.

"Strange..where did the girl vanish in such a short amount of time?" The Old man muttered in confusion. The only thing which could avoid his scanning was probably a formation laid down by someone of his level. Like the Dimension Pouch within which the Crimsons lived. He knew it was right there on the mountain behind the Scarlet House, he couldn't feel a single damn thing from the place.

"Hmmn…Space Crystal?" A frown emerged on the old man's face as he felt residual traces of spatial fluctuations. It could only be caused by the presence of Space Crystals.

"Don't tell me.." The Old man's face turned dark, and the next instant, he flew straight towards the place where he felt the residual fluctuations.

In a Warehouse..

"Seal this place…" Istadore commanded as he looked at the circle which still seemed to be lingering with terrifying Spatial Energy. No matter how many times he saw it, it was shocking.

He then turned around and walked out of the place. There was a guard standing outside, who was probably on a lookout. This person was the same person who had caught Rihanna.

"Any signs?" Istadore asked as he looked at this person.

"No, Master. There hasn't been any movement. It doesn't seem that anyone has sensed us," The person respectfully replied.

"Good, I will return ahead. See if everything is done properly.."

With that, Istadore's figure suddenly blended into the darkness, and he disappeared.

The guard turned around planning to walk inside the warehouse, but the moment he did, his body suddenly paused.

A second later, he turned around to confirm and, there was indeed a person standing there. And, it was not him imagining things.

It was an old man who seemed to have appeared like a ghost.

At first, he was petrified, thinking that a strong enemy had appeared, but now that he carefully looked, there wasn't a single strand of energy around the old fellow. No wonder he didn't sense anything.

"What are you doing here, Old geezer? This is private property. Leave, if you don't want to get hurt.."

The Old man ignored the guard, and just tilted his head to look into the warehouse.

"Did you guys use Space Crystals?"

The guard's face immediately changed when he heard the old man ask that. And, he knew he was in trouble.

But, even in this situation, his first reaction was extremely fast.

A dagger had appeared in his hands, and the next moment, he was stabbing into the old man's throat.

"Calm down there, young man.."

But, this person was not an ordinary geezer, it was Old Man Sun.

The dagger, which was probably a 9 ? weapon, was easily caught by the Old man. He didn't even use his energy, and just caught the blade with bare hands.

"Y-You!" It was only now that the guard realized how strong this person was. The difference wasn't something that he could cover with a sneak attack.

"Crack!"

In front of his widening eyes, the Old man clenched his fingers, and the blade shattered.

"Now, then how about we talk?" the Old man further asked with a smile, and raised his palm.

Even though the guard tried to run away, a strong suction force pulled him towards the old man, and his neck ended up in the Old man's hand.

A Supreme Tier Mage..

And, yet he was nothing more than a kid in front of this old man. He was so helpless that he couldn't even put up a struggle.

This was the difference between the strength between these two Tiers.

"Kill…me…but I won't tell you anything..." The guard replied through his gritted teeths.

But, the Old man just smiled as he looked into his eyes, "I haven't even ask you anything yet....but, still...tell me everything.."

His aura broke out, and crashed onto the Supreme. It was an easy job for an Ascensionist to break the will of a Supreme.

But, at this moment, something strange happened.

"I.." As the guard opened his mouth to speak, a strong fluctuation erupted from his body. It immediately crashed into the Old man's aura which was entering the Supreme's body.

"Boom!"

The Supreme's body couldn't bear the clash between two auras and his body immediately exploded into tiny little pieces, leaving the Old man with a dark face.
