The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 401

Chapter 401

401 The offer seemed reasonable

The offer seemed reasonable. Zi Han would get to skin that woman and avenge his family and he would get his husband back. It was a sweet deal actually and Yi Chen should have taken it but when he recalled what he was looking for from that woman he couldn’t bring himself to agree.

For a moment he was in a daze unable to make a decision. This delay in response was enough to send Zi Han into a frenzy.

“You see what I mean. You... let me go. I am done,” said Zi Han feeling very irritable. He began to struggle even more and the two of them wrestled like immature teens.

To Zi Han, Yi Chen’s answer should have been prompt but the man lagged like he had gone offline and refused to give him a response like he was seriously thinking about it.

How hard was it to make a decision? If it was him he would have answered yes already.

“The fuck... get off me. Now that I know that stupid woman is more important than I am I don’t want to see you anymore. Let go,” said Zi Han his eyes filled with rage.

Hearing this Yi Chen felt like a blade had been driven into his heart. He pinned Zi Han’s wrists above his head suppressing him before saying, “It’s because she can help me find your father,” he said and the layer of frost in Zi Han’s eyes melted away replaced by a complex feeling. The clinking from the coins came to an abrupt halt as Zi Han stopped moving. His chest rose and fell rapidly his body trembling unconsciously.

Yi Chen saw that he had stopped fighting and interlocked his fingers with Zi Han’s holding him tightly.

“I was right before... your father is alive in the Republic... That’s how that man was able to open portals in the Federation. Baby, he is alive,” said Yi Chen and Zi Han’s tense muscles relaxed as he stared at Yi Chen his eyes brimming with emotion.

.....

This wasn’t the first time Yi Chen had mentioned this to him. At that time he was filled with hope that his father was still alive but at the end of the day, this was proven wrong. The pain of falling after having hope was so excruciating that he felt like he was being torn apart and Yi Chen was there holding his hand through it all. He knew what he went through. He knew the pain he went through so he wouldn’t say this even if it was just to bring him back home.

Zi Han looked into those eyes scrutinizing him and he knew that Yi Chen wasn’t lying. He wasn’t trying to bring him home, he genuinely believed his father was alive.

“Do you.... do you know what you are saying?” asked Zi Han his head shaking with a slight tremble in his lips.

Yi Chen stroked Zi Han’s forehead moving away the strand of hair sticking out from the scarf on his head with affection in his eyes. “He is alive somewhere and I am going to find him for you,” whispered Yi Chen as he lowered his head and kissed Zi Han’s forehead.

“I will bring him home for you babe... I promise,” he whispered in a soft melodious voice making Zi Han peaceful and sound of mind. The torrent storm in his heart calmed but he didn’t want to go down this rabbit hole with Yi Chen.

He could tell that his lover truly believed in this lost cause but he wasn’t going to go down that route with him. The pain was just too intense for him.

Seeing Zi Han being distracted for so long Yi Chen thought he was in shock. He kissed his lover’s nose bridge down to the tip of his nose his actions filled with tender affection.

He gently rubbed the man’s cheek soothingly with his thumb his expression intoxicated like he had finally received his first drop of water after days in the hot desert. His actions became more unrestrained as he kissed his lover’s lips with a fiery passion.

Zi Han closed his eyes as he raised his chin seeming very intoxicated. He was slowly getting lured by the sweet tenderness emanating from his lover’s body but he still knew what he wanted.

He pressed his lips against Yi Chen’s with his tongue prying open the man’s scorching lips.

His movements became very urgent as he kissed and sucked on his lover’s lips like he wanted more of him. Yi Chen who had been starved for so long loosened his grip and Zi Han took advantage of this and flipped Yi Chen’s body over straddling him.

Yi Chen opened his eyes and when he saw his lover sitting on top of him while staring at him with affection in his eyes his heart melted into a puddle.

This face he hadn’t seen in a very long time and now that he had laid eyes on it he couldn’t help but whisper, “I love you so much baby,” while rubbing his thighs above the sheer harem pants, “I missed you so much.”

Zi Han didn’t say anything. He just lowered his body and kissed Yi Chen’s lips his waist subconsciously grinding up against his lover with the sharp ringing sound that was produced by the clinking sound from the coins striking against each other as they shimmered under the dim light in the room.

Yi Chen sat up halfway with his hand sliding at the back of Zi Han’s neck deepening the kiss. He teased his lover with the tip of his tongue making the man in his arms shudder in excitement.

Yi Chen was so entranced by his enchanting figure and the way his waist moved like a waterfall drowning him in lust that he didn’t realise something was wrong with Zi Han.

In as much as Zi Han was very happy to be reunited with his lover he still knew his objective. He took out the belt on his harem pants and tied up Yi Chen to the bedpost in a constrictor knot which was the most effective binding knot that tightens when pulled.

Yi Chen was already drowning in Zi Han’s toxins and by the time he realised what had happened, it was already too late.
