Chapter 97
Chapter 97
97 A pissed of Zi Han is something else.
Yi Chen knew he had messed up the moment he said those words but what had been spoken couldn’t be taken back. He was saying this for Zi Han’s sake because he was well aware of what kind of thoughts he harbored towards him.
If he were to see him naked he was afraid that he would become a pervert and eat some tofu both intentionally and unintentionally thus he blurted that out.
Unfortunately for him, Zi Han had yet again misunderstood which didn’t surprise him at this point. He just hoped he could smooth things over before this misunderstanding festered and morphed into something irreparable.
Yi Chen could hear Zi Han noisily moving things around his locker while changing. The man was obviously cursing his ancestors. Yi Chen knew the risks but he had absolutely no choice.
Thus he said, “You misunderstood me. That’s not what I meant,” while straightening up his t-shirt. He didn’t even look in Zi Han’s direction but this only made things worse.
A shirtless Zi Han and mind you it was a shirtless Zi Han wearing a skirt walked over to him and angrily said, “Then please elaborate what you meant? Am I so disgusting in your eyes that you can’t even look at me? What part of me doesn’t look like you, huh?”
“Yes sure you have more muscles than I do but so what? So I should go change in private because I don’t meet your standards?... You are full of shit, you know that?”
“Tch.... fuckin ruining my mood,” he mumbled walking away as Yi Chen still didn’t look at him nor did he respond or maybe he just didn’t have the opportunity to respond. But right now it was starting to look like Yi Chen wasn’t very good with words. He was good at most things but arguing wasn’t a skill he was gifted in.
Yi Chen couldn’t hold it in anymore so he turned to look at him only to be met by a breathtaking image that sent his soul straight into seventh heaven. Zi Han stood with his back to him completely unaware of the chaos stirring behind him.
.....
His back was caught between well-built with a defined waist sculpted to perfection. As he moved around his exquisite muscles tightened and relaxed causing ripples in Yi Chen’s heart. His hands felt a little itchy. He wanted to run the tips of his fingers on those intricate shoulder blades that vanished under the fabric of the white t-shirt blocking his view.
Yi Chen felt his heart beat faster and faster as he followed Zi Han’s movements with his eyes. His throat burnt from thirst when Zi Han’s slender fingers reached for the zipper of the skirt that was behind.
As the zipper was pulled down he saw two venus dimples peeking from underneath the band of Zi Han’s black trunks and as the skirt slipped down Zi Han’s long legs Yi Chen couldn’t look anymore nor could he speak.
His situation down under wasn’t good either. His entire body felt hot and flustered like he had soaked in a hot spring for several hours. This wasn’t good. If he couldn’t control himself soon Zi Han would notice his abnormality.
He took in deep breaths as he closed his eyes attempting to calm the blaze wailing up with him. Yi Chen rubbed his forehead while chanting internally trying to quench the blaze within him.
Zi Han angrily slammed the locker door and walked past Yi Chen but before he could pass him his arm was grasped. Zi Han wanted to shake off Yi Chen but he found he couldn’t so he glared at him in warning.
Yi Chen didn’t heed this warning. Instead, he pulled Zi Han back a few steps while his other hand took out a folder bag and placed it on Zi Han’s chest. “My choice of words was wrong..... I am sorry I made you upset,” said Yi Chen with so much sincerity in his eyes but Zi Han was still too hot-headed to notice.
Zi Han snorted coldly and gave back the folder bag to its owner while trying to yank his hand back. “If you feel disgusted then don’t fuckin look at me. Close your eyes or some shit like that,” he said his words sharp enough to slice through Yi Chen’s soul.
“I don’t feel disgusted.... I just want you to stop wearing a skirt that’s all. Here..... look inside,” he said giving Zi Han back the folder that had been tossed back and forth between them.
Zi Han was utterly vexed by this situation. He couldn’t understand why Yi Chen was extremely persistent about this but who was Yi Chen to him that he would tell him (Zi Han) what to do?
If he wants to wear a skirt then no one and I repeat no one in this world could stop him. Not even his mother could stop him let alone Yi Chen.
Zi Han was about to toss the folder into Yi Chen’s locker and walk away but Yi Chen pressed the folder back on his chest and said, “...Please,” in a low tone that could almost be mistaken for begging.
Zi Han who usually solved conflicts with fists found himself at a loss at this point. In as much as he wanted to express his anger that voice was just too calm for his liking.
“Let go of me,” said Zi Han. He knew he would be late for training if Yi Chen kept stubbornly holding him.
“I will only let go if you promise to take a look at what’s inside,” said Yi Chen lowering his head slightly to look into Zi Han’s eyes.
Zi Han’s lips twitched as he glared back at him like a cat ready to pounce on an enemy. “Fine, now let go,” said Zi Han and Yi Chen immediately let go.
He watched Zi Han put away the folder before walking out of the locker room in large strides. Yi Chen could clearly feel the resentment coming from Zi Han which made his heartache. When it came down to it he found that he couldn’t say anything that would expose him thus he could only say so much. Unfortunately for him, it only deepened the misunderstanding but to him, a misunderstanding was better than letting his feelings known.
If Zi Han found out the truth then he might even avoid him and not want to talk to him anymore. While it is not a good feeling to be hated but to him, it was better to be hated than ignored.
