After hearing Lin Jiage’s explanation, Shi Yao didn’t think too much into it. She immediately took the elevator with Lin Jiage and headed to the Hotpot restaurant.

However, this wasn’t the first time she noticed that something was amiss with Lin jiage, so Shi Yao still paid close attention to him throughout the entire process of eating the hotpot. Other than the fact that he still couldn’t eat too spicy.., there wasn’t much difference between him and his usual self either.

It was only 8:30 pm when they returned to the hotel after eating hotpot.

After returning to their respective rooms, Shi Yao took a shower first. After washing away the smell of hotpot from her body, she suddenly felt like eating some fruits, so she grabbed her phone and ordered a takeaway.

Around twenty minutes later, the takeaway arrived.

After Shi Yao went downstairs to retrieve the fruits, she didn’t go back to her room to eat alone. Instead, she knocked on Lin Jiage’s door.

Just like how she knocked on his door several times in the evening, no one answered.
