The sound of a heavy thud prompted her to turn around, just in time to see Griffon’ body banging against the floor, his face completely pale. Taya’s heart missed a beat. Give me some time and the chance to make everything clear to you, is that all right?” His voice carried a hint of a plea as if he had something urgent to explain to her.
