The limo started, and Brittany started to feel drowsy.
She took a small nap on the way to the Salter Manor. When they arrived, she rubbed her temples, opened the door, and got out of the
car.
“Mrs. Salter.” Emily heard the car and had come out to greet her.
Brittany heard Emily’s greeting and a flash of discomfort passed over her face, but she didn’t object.
As Isaac got out of the driver’s seat, he picked up the prepared gift box.
Emily took it immediately. “Grace has been waiting for you all. Little Master is in the garden. He said he wanted to pick some flowers for Mrs. Salter.”
Brittany stepped into Salter Manor. It wasn’t her first time here, but she felt a strange sense of awe.
It was as if, by stepping through this door, her relationship with Isaac was solidified.
Isaac walked over to her, took her hand and said, “Let’s go.”
“Alright.”
Upon entering the living room, it was filled with people, with Leda and her son seated at the most prominent position.
Someone noticed Isaac and awkwardly moved away from Leda.
Isaac knew the real character of these people, and he held no affection for them. If it wasn’t for the family gathering, he wouldn’t even interact with them.
“Let’s go to the backyard.” Seeing that Brittany was uncomfortable, Isaac decided to take her away.
The Salter family looked at each other in confusion.
“How did they make up?”
“Weren’t they getting a divorce? When did they reconcile?”
“I heard they got back together when she was in the hospital.”
Marcel squinted his eyes, watching Isaac’s retreating figure with a dark expression.

Little Daniel, dressed in a small suit, was sitting on the lawn surrounded by a pile of roses.
Each rose was lovingly grown by Grace. Each flower was full and lush, with dewdrops twinkling in the petals.
Grace felt a little sorry for the roses, considering the effort she put into maintaining them..
But seeing Daniel’s joy, she let it go.
She sat beside him, sipping her water while teaching Daniel how to trim the roses.
“What are you going to do with all these roses?”
“Give them to my mom.” Daniel, sweaty from the effort, replied without hesitation.
Grace feigned jealousy, “Just to your mom?”/
“And to you.” Daniel smiled brightly, “Don’t be jealous. Daniel loves you the most.”
Grace was overjoyed.
Daniel carefully arranged the roses and wrapped them up. Just as he finished tying the ribbon, Isaac’s voice rang out, and Daniel, clutching the bouquet, ran into Brittany’s arms. “Mom, flowers for you!”
Brittany, momentarily blinded by the bouquet, squatted down, took the flowers, and kissed Daniel’s chubby cheeks. “Thank you.”
Daniel’s eyes shone brightly.
“There’s another bouquet for Grace. Give it to her.”
Daniel nodded seriously, handed the bouquet to Grace, and managed to charm Grace with his endearing manners.
After some small talk, Daniel was snuggled in Grace’s arms, while Brittany called out, “Granny.”
Grace looked at Brittany and Isaac’s interlaced fingers in surprise. “You two… Are you really planning on reconciling?”
