Nathan went to the restroom, waiting for Kari.
Kari came out from the stall, walked to the sink, and turned on the faucet.

Megan believed she had offered generous terms.
“I can’t do that.” Kari shook her head, “I don’t lack money, nor do I need rewards.”
Kari turned off the faucet and dried her hands. “Ms. Campbell, you can try to persuade Nathan to leave me. I won’t let go.”
With that, Kari quickly left.
Megan heard Nathan’s voice rise, different from his usual coldness, it held traces of concern.
Megan leaned against the wall, with her arms crossed.

“Madam, Ms. Malone is quite outstanding, so why not give them a chance? Perhaps you could train Ms. Malone?”
Mila was taken aback. She thought Megan would be against Kari, but she didn’t expect Megan to speak for Kari.
