Brittany nodded as she took a seat.
Landon passed her a file and reported on the week’s progress, highlighting a few promising projects.
Brittany listened intently, and when Landon finished, he fixed his gaze on her. “Ms. Dustin, I’ve
personally vetted these projects. Take a look at the assessment reports. If you have no objections, I’ll
start the preparations.”
Trusting in Landon’s abilities, Brittany carefully read through the documents, particularly focusing on
one project.
Coincidentally, it was the same project that Landon was most passionate about.
They agreed on a preliminary partnership and set to inspect the project site the next morning.
Landon made arrangements with his assistant for flights and hotel bookings, deciding to bring along a
few trusted colleagues. or Brittany left, he called his assistant again. “This project inspection is crucial.
Make sure everything is arranged meticulously. We can’t afford any mishaps.”

With a business trip on the horizon, Brittany informed Isaac, intending to return before Grace’s surgery.
