Chapter 213

Allison’s body Involuntarily shuddered.

Lucian noted her reaction.

Then she started to laugh.

The man stared at the smile on her face. At this moment, she resembled a beautiful and mysterious oil painting under the chilly moonlight, alluring him to approach yet seemingly carrying a toxic quality that slowly seeped into his bones.

He couldn’t believe he had misjudged the person. He couldn’t believe he was actually interested in a woman like this.

Despite her confession, he still couldn’t shake the temptation of her innocent exterior

The man turned around and walked away swiftly.

Suddenly, he heard a scream from behind him: “Ah-”

Lucian turned around and saw a light blue streak in the air. Allison’s body was flying over the railing. Without a second thought or any hesitation, he ran over and grabbed her hand, only to be dragged into the sea by her falling momentum.

Both of them plunged into the sea.

“Allison, Allison! Open your eyes, Allison!”

Allison felt a suffocating pain.

Who was calling her name?

It felt like her chest was being crushed by a huge stone.

She wanted to break free. She wanted to breathe.

Suddenly, something soft, cool, and slightly tobacco–flavored pressed against her lips.

Fresh air flowed in.

She coughed violently a few times before opening her eyes.

Lucian sighed in relief when he saw her eyes open.

Her face was pale, with only a hint of drunken blush on her cheeks.

“Who are you?” she asked.

What’s wrong with her?

Gasping for breath, Allison saw everything in a blur.

The events just now had left her dizzy and her mind blank.

She had just subconsciously asked that question..

Unexpectedly, the man seemed to be infuriated by her words, “Who am I? Allison, you’ve crossed the line!”

Allison shook her head, soaking wet and uncomfortable. She heard a male voice scoff, “You actually chose to commit suicide–such a despicable method! Allison, I really underestimated you!”

So it’s Lucian.

She chuckled. “Suicide?” How could it be?

“I wouldn’t commit suicide. I just had too much to drink, leaned on the railing, and accidentally tumbled over.”

“Hmph.” Lucian was also soaked, his short hair dripping with water, which trickled down his handsome face,

The sea breeze blew, and Allison shivered, trying to stand up but finding herself powerless.

Her whole body was trembling.

At this moment, her dress was soaked and clung tightly to her skin, outlining her perfect figure. Due to the struggle in the sea, her collar was now undone, revealing a part of her chest. Lucian swallowed hard, then threw his wet coat over her.

The next second, Allison was swept off her feet.

Lucian kicked open the bathroom door and put her in the bathtub.

“Clean yourself up!”

The warm water startled Allison, and her body shivered again.

Hearing the door close, she looked up at this unfamiliar place.

Her eyes were full of confusion. This didn’t seem to be her room.
