Chapter 903

Bruce’s eyes narrowed into ominous slits as his grip tightened on her arm.

“You think this place is too cramped, huh? Don’t worry, we can head back to the room,” Bruce said with a wicked grin, releasing her arm to grab the throw blanket off the couch.

“Help-mmph!” Evelyn’s plea for help was cut short as Bruce stuffed the throw blanket into her mouth.

He yanked his leather belt free, binding her hands with it, then hoisted her over his shoulder and strode towards the bedroom.

“Mmmph!” Evelyn struggled violently, her bound hands beating against him, her legs kicking wildly.

No matter how much her kicks hurt him, Bruce held on tight, preventing her from sliding off his shoulder. He marched into the bedroom, threw her onto the bed, and with angry, labored breaths, pinned her hands above her head.

“Settle down, Evelyn! Don’t think you can scream and shout at me just because I’m usually patient! Today I’m going to show you just how tough your man can be!”

After his chilling words, Bruce tied her wrists to the headboard and secured her ankles as well.

Then, he pounced, kissing her cheeks, her neck.

“Mmmph!” Evelyn twisted and turned her head, trying to dodge him, but no matter how much she struggled, she couldn’t escape Bruce’s iron grip.

Despair washed over Evelyn, tears streaming down from the corners of her eyes, disappearing into her hair.

Carrying the contract for Central Ring Villa, Thalassa returned home in a daze to find the house dark and eerily silent.

Flipping the light switch, she noticed the dinner dishes still on the table and assumed Evelyn hadn’t gone to bed yet.

“Mom, I’m back,” Thalassa called out towards the bedroom.

There was no answer.

BANG!

Suddenly, a loud noise came from the bedroom.

Thalassa’s nerves tensed. Worried, she hurried toward the bedroom, turned the doorknob, ready to open the door.

But the knob wouldn’t turn; it was locked from the inside.

Thalassa knocked urgently, “Mom, are you in there? What was that noise just now?”

Still, no response.

The strange sound had vanished.

A bad feeling crept into Thalassa’s heart, panic setting in. She pounded on the door, “Mom, are you there? Why aren’t you answering?”

Silence.

Thalassa’s anxiety escalated. She tried to ram the door with her body, but it wouldn’t budge.

Desperate, she paced, her mind racing. Something had to have happened to her mother in that room!

Heart racing, Thalassa dashed back to the dining area, grabbed a chair, and started smashing it against the bedroom door.

Despite several heavy blows, the door remained shut.
