Regardless of how much she appreciated Claire’s designs, the final say lay with YJYO’s higher– ups.
But Mia couldn’t bear even the slightest chance of Claire gaining such an opportunity.
Mia, speechless for a while, glared venomously at Claire. Claire sighed softly and shook her head.

of composure, her aspirations for Mr. Sean seem rather overambitious.”
The man in the middle instantly felt awkward. Julia’s direct addressing of him made him even more
uncomfortable. “Julia,” he said in a low, threatening tone, “if you continue to cross me with your
pointless chatter, believe me, I’ll throw you out.”
Julia shivered slightly, sneaking a glance at Sean’s displeased face. She quickly withdrew her hand
and made an apologetic gesture before turning back.
Claire, witnessing Julia’s expression, laughed joyfully. She nudged Sean gently, whispering al
warning, “Sean, aren’t you afraid that one day Julia will become your sister–in–law and get back at
you for all this intimidation?”
