THE CEO AND ME!

Chapter 128 - "I LOST MY BABY!"

Chapter 128 - "I LOST MY BABY!"

"Plus it was my chance to rekindle my love."

"And did it work??"

Tinsley implored to which Madison blushed, driving to the main highway, entering the city corner.

"What next?? "

Tinsley questioned after listening to Madi's narration over a cup of coffee in the city cafe.

Madi just narrowed her eyes at Tinsley midway into the story of Hawai. Tinsley raised her eyebrows, not getting what happened next.

"You do not want me to narrate the part I seducing Lana back to loving me?? Now, do you??"

Madi sassed and Tinsley gave her a questionable look, not believing that she could be telling the truth at this point.

They only reached the part where they almost kissed incoming until John interrupted them in the plane and destroyed the moment.

It stopped with Madi asking John if she could ride with him to shopping and then it directly skipped to making love with Lana??

She could not just believe that. Something more should have had happened right??

Tinsley questioned herself and Madi just shrugged it off, drinking her coffee completely.

"And also it's time for you to meet my girlfriend, Lana...."

Madi spoke out, raising her wrist up to check the time on her wristwatch. Tinsley kept frowning until she heard the bell ring of the cafe when another customer entered and it was none other than Lana, herself, in bones and flesh.

"And there she is..."

Madi smiled, standing up. Lana saw her from the entrance and walked straight up to their table.

"Hey, baby!"

She greeted Madi with a quick peck on her lips and then turned to look at Tinsley who kept watching the duo in utter shock and confusion.

"Hey, babe! Do you remember me telling you about the redhead woman my nana used to look after and now we are friends??"

Madi implored and Lana nodded, smiling. Tinsley glared at Madi's intro of her to Lana.

"Well, that is her. Tinsley Randall!"

"Hey, I m Lana, nice to meet you."

Lana cheered, extending her hand for Tinsley to shake. It was only then she stood up and shook Lana's hand, awkwardly.

"I was just telling her about how I seduced you to loving me back again."

Madi said, pulling Lana's chair for her to sit in and gestured the waiter to come to their table.

"I have always loved you, Mad!"

Lana chuckled, smiling at Tinsley who very awkwardly just gawked at the lovey-dovey couple.

She could not get how easily one could rekindle their love just like that??

Was not Madison crying about it to her the other night??

And today, she was here smiling and laughing about everything along with her lover by her side.

"I missed us coming here, Madison. I m so happy right now!"

Lana mumbled, sipping her coffee from the mug. They used to come here a lot after Madison would have her lunch break when they were dating.

"Me too!!"

Madison let out, holding onto Lana's hand on the table, rubbing her thumbs over Lana's palm.

"I m so happy to have you both here."

Madi completed and Tinsley gave them a generous smile. She was glad that after everything that had happened, Madison was finally in her happy place with the woman she loved.

And she was definitely happy about that. Once they were done with their other round of beverages, Madi drove them to her house.

Anna Maria was ecstatic to meet Lana. The house was filled with happiness and joyous moment.

Tinsley, Madi and Lana helped Anna Maria prepare lunch in the kitchen together.

It was like a feast. They had prepared so many dishes. Lana basically created a mess because she had no idea of what cooking was like.

Tinsley could see her reflection in Lana a few months back when she was as immature as Lana.

And she could not wonder but how things had changed. It had been three months since her parent's death and life had taken a u-turn for her completely.

Of all the terrible things that she had to face before ending up with Kian, she did not regret it as much as she had repented and cried internally for her lost child.

And just like that, even being in the midst of three joyful people, having a merry luncheon on the table, she felt alone, lonely and avoid deep inside of her.

Anna Maria caught hold of Madi and Lana's hands on the table forming a ring, Tinsley joined too.

"My family is finally complete now."

Anna Maria concluded. The old woman could not hold back her happy tears overflowing from her eyes.

And everything Kian had confessed to her of their future started showering over her like an unwanted hailstorm with no roof to hide in.

"I promise to be the better version of me for you and our incoming child. "

He held on to her waist tightly and it was enough to let Tinsley know how hard it was for him to be clean about himself.

"After my mother died, I never thought I could come to liking anyone as close I m to you...I never thought of letting myself get close to anyone as I m to you...

Before I intended to hold myself back but now I m fully in, body, soul and mind with every ounce of me herewith you.

I, know the conditions are not at the best and I give you my words that I will work hard to give you the life you deserve, you were born into and raised to be in one...the same for our baby. "

"It's very strange how a few years ago, I never thought of meeting a woman as beautiful as you...sharing an innate connection, marry her and come to the point of seeing a possible future with her, together, with our children. "

She broke down on right then and there, not carrying about the people surrounding her.

She felt like she had failed him and it was crushing her from inside for not knowing how to tell him the truth at all.

She was afraid of how he would react, scared that he would turn out to be like her father and treat her like her mother for the rest of their marriage.

Anna Maria, Madi and Lana turned to look at her with astonishment. They had no idea what just happened for Tinsley to start crying like a baby out of nowhere.

"My dear, what is wrong??"

Anna Maria questioned from her seat, getting concerned. She was crying staring at her plate of half-eaten food as if she had not heard the old woman's voice.

"Is the food bad?? "

"How could it be?? That's her paella she made."

Madi pointed out. They were clueless and Tinsley continued to cry like a newborn without a break...like a heartbroken girl in her teens.

Anna Maria got up from her seat and walked up to where she was sitting and pulled Tinsley in for a hug sideways.

"Everything will be fine!"

She said, rubbing Tinsley's back soothingly, trying to calm her down. She had not seen Tinsley cry like that after that incident in the summer when Kian never again returned for her.

That summer ending, Tinsley finally gave up on waiting for the young boy...stopped visiting the mango tree where they had shared their first kiss for him to not return ever again.

She had cried the same way she was crying, hugging Anna Maria. Her young heart had been broken that day very cruelly, leaving a trauma in her mind.

"How can be everything...fine???"

Tinsley sobbed, her vision getting blurry from the tears. She saw everything hazy and unclear...just like her future.

"Everything gets better in the end..."

Anna Maria mumbled to her, rubbing her back, trying to console her. Madi and Lana watched the duo awkwardly.

"How could it?? How could it this time??"

Tinsley questioned, thrashing her face more into Anna Maria's warm chest, trying to heat her cold, slowly dying soul from inside.

"Who will bring back my baby?? "

They could not pinpoint out what exactly Tinsley was crying out in between her sobs.

Anna Maria looked in Madi's direction asking if she knew about something but Madi just shrugged, not having any clue at all.

"I lost it...I lost my baby forever!!"

Tinsley wailed, horrifying everyone present at the table. They were stunned even to utter or make a single noise.

Madi remembered Tinsley telling her how they were trying for a baby and how she had dismissed the idea dejectedly.

It was then she felt sick internally thinking if it had anything to do with her...losing the baby.

"He...he will hate me...hate me for the rest of our lives..."

Tinsley complained, fearing the worst. She was at the most bottom point of her life and would not be able to hold it in if Kian rejected her.

"What if...what if he hates me as daddy did to mother??"

Her question stunned Anna Maria, leaving her speechless.
