Charlie nodded sternly. Since they wanted to remain so stubborn and audacious, he didn’t have to give in.

“Grandma, since you don’t have a place to live, how about I arrange a place for you? It includes food and housing and doesn’t cost a penny.”

“Shut up!” Lady Wilson chided disdainfully, “You want me to live in the old apartment where the four of us used to live, don’t you? No freaking way! I don’t want to live in such a shabby place! I will move into this Thompson First villa today!”

Charlie said, amused, “Oh no, Grandma, you’re overthinking it. We bought the old apartment and we won’t let you stay in for free, of course.”

He immediately took out his phone and texted Isaac.

“The Wilson family has come to cause trouble at Thompson First. Call someone and lock these people up in the detention center for 2 weeks.”

Isaac quickly replied, “Okay, Mr. Wade, I’ll get on it right now.”

Elaine was extremely annoyed by Lady Wilson’s antiques, she tried to push her out the door with great effort. Lady Wilson shrieked anxiously and called the police herself, “Police, help! My daughter-in-law doesn’t want to support me. She wants to kick me out of her house and let me die on the streets!”

The police said in an earnest tone, “Where are you located? We’ll send our guys there!”

“Thompson First, Villa no. A05!”

“Okay, please wait a moment. Our officers will be there soon!”

After Charlie’s text exchanges, he smiled at Lady Wilson’s calling the police and said, “Since you’ve called the police, let’s just wait for the police to judge.”

Elaine was a bundle of nerves. She was worried that the police would force Jacob to accept Lady Wilson and let her move in, so she turned to Charlie and chided, “Why do we have to wait for the police to come?! Kick them out of here now! If the old lady makes a scene when the police are here, it will be more troublesome!”

Lady Wilson snorted triumphantly, “What’s the matter? Are you scared? If you obediently clean up a room and welcome me into this house, I’ll talk nicely to the officer later. Otherwise, clean your ass because you’re going to spend some time in jail!”

Christopher interjected frantically, “Mom, they have to clean up two rooms! Harold and I have to move in too! No matter what, I’m still Jacob’s brother and he has the legal obligation to support me too! Otherwise, I’ll tell the police that they’ve punched me in the chest!”

Then, he glared at Charlie and challenged, “Tell you something, rude boy. I have coronary heart disease and I’m at a high risk of a fatal heart attack! If I collapse here, you’ll have to be responsible!”

Charlie smiled indifferently. “Well, let’s just wait until the police arrive.”

Soon, there was a knock on the door.

Christopher was over the moon and urged, “Quick, Harold, open the door!”

Harold rushed to the door and opened it. Then, a team of police officers walked into the house.

Lady Wilson hurriedly cried, “Officer, help! You must help me! My son doesn’t want to provide for me! My daughter-in-law and grandson-in-law want to beat me!”
