Charlie was moved. Mrs. Lewis had really treated him as her own son and cared so much about him.

Charlie chuckled rather awkwardly and said, “Claire and I are doing fine. When you come back, I’ll bring her along when I pick you up!”
Mrs. Lewis heaved a sigh of relief. “Hey, hurry up and get Claire pregnant! You guys aren’t young anymore, it’s time for you to have a baby. Listen to me, your relationship will improve tremendously when you have a baby!”
Charlie, on the other hand, sighed dejectedly. He couldn’t even sleep in the same bed with Claire yet, so it was a little too early to want children now, wasn’t it?
But, of course, he couldn’t be truthful about it, so he smiled and said instead, “Yes, I know. Don’t worry, we’ll think about it.”

Then, she frowned and muttered, “Their wedding anniversary, maybe?”
