As he thought about this, Jacob felt much better and he quickly told Charlie, “Okay, I understand now. You should go and look for your friends now. I’ll ask around to inquire about the divorce procedures. I will ask your mother for a divorce as soon as she comes home.”
After bidding farewell to his father-in-law, Charlie took a cab to Shangri-La.
Isaac was already patiently waiting for him.
The lobby manager invited Charlie to Isaac’s office in a respectful manner.

She did not even bother to think about the reason why there was so much money in the bank card. How could she possibly have the guts to try and transfer such a huge amount of money to herself? Charlie smiled before he said, “This mother-in-law of mine loves money more than anything else in this life. She was the third party in my father-in-law’s relationship with his first love and the only reason she had intervened in their relationship was because my father-in-law was still relatively wealthy at that time. However, she never would’ve expected my father-in-law’s family’s financial situation to worsen as soon as she married into his family. This person has been living and running after money throughout her whole entire life but she has failed to get what she wanted. Therefore, she must be feeling extremely distressed about it.”
Isaac replied, “Young Master, I think that it would be best for you to continue teaching your mother-in- law a lesson. You should detain her and keep her locked up in the detention center for at least three to five years to make sure that she has really learned her lesson. Are you really going to release her after locking her up for only two days?”
Charlie nodded before he said, “The only reason I’m releasing her from the detention center is because I feel bad for my wife. However, if my mother-in-law still doesn’t learn her lesson and live honestly after
she is released, I’ll find some other ways to make sure that she learns her lesson then.”
After that, Charlie continued speaking, “By the way, make sure that you arrange for someone to go to the police station to interrogate her tomorrow. Do everything as I have planned and instructed you to earlier. Find all of the actors and props that you need to put on a good show for her.”
Isaac replied immediately, “Yes, Young Master. Don’t worry. I have made all the necessary arrangements and planning.”
Charlie replied lightly, “The reason why I’m here today is mainly to go through the entire process with you again. Make sure that there are no mistakes at all tomorrow.”
Isaac nodded slightly before he said, “Young Master, why don’t we start sorting the plan out then?”
