As Delbert openly slacked off during the meeting, Cory felt it was unfair. ‘Why did Mr. Delbert answer Ms. Harriet’s calls so quickly?’ He thought. In contrast, Delbert always ignored his subordinates.

Being close enough to Delbert, Cory heard their conversation.
But the others in the conference room did not. They only thought that it was an important issue, and they patiently waited for Delbert to finish the call.
