Chapter 167: Fight Continued

"Can you warn me when you pull sh*t like that please?!" an angry voice came from the hole.

"How about you use some common sense? We can't obviously LAND in here," another voice retorted.

"Excuses!"

"I hate you so much right now. I swear to god you're the worst person to travel with."

"At least I know when to shut up. And move your d*mn foot!"

"Move YOUR foot!"

"You b*tch!"

Some shuffling and grunting noises came from inside the hole, painting a very vivid picture for the onlookers.

"W-Who is that? Do you recognize the voice?" One person turned and asked his companion, getting a head shake in response.

"STOP! My new clothes!"

"HAHAHA! That's what you get!"

"I swear to god Jin-"

*COUGH*

The guard that was standing near the hole listening with furrowed brows finally couldn't take it and cleared his throat loud enough that a small shockwave spread out.

"Just you fucking wait bitch," Hao Xuan's annoyed voice came from the hole and he jumped out with his mask.

He was wearing black pants and shirt that were stained with mud and torn from a few places. He looked like he had just gotten out of a fight, which he actually had. Right now he looked like a beat-up young master.

Jin Wang also jumped out but he looked completely fine. He looked at Hao Xuan's appearance and scoffed.

"This way," the guard saw the vein on Hao Xuan's forehead double in size and yelled to stop them for making a fool of themselves, again. He started walking towards the second largest stone building.

"C*nt," Hao Xuan mumbled under his breath but it was still loud enough for everyone to hear, and then followed after the guard.

"Wh*re," Jin Wang retorted and followed them as well, disappearing into the building within a couple of seconds.

"He seems....different from the videos...." one of the guards mumbled nonchalantly and returned to his original position.

It hadn't even been two minutes since the barrier closed and they had already gone into one of the buildings, leaving the speechless crowd to process what they saw.

"O-Oi, wa.....was that Captain Deimos...?" Kramson asked Rong Li absentmindedly.

Rong Li was a huge fan of Hao Xuan and had been keeping tabs on him. He was in his fan club as well and paid 20 gold coins for the premium membership. They would send all kinds of information to the fans including the dishes he ate, the clothes he wore, etc.

Obviously, Hao Xuan himself had no idea about this fan club which was making quite a lot of money by selling his information without his knowledge.

"Of course that's him! Didn't you see his iconic mask?!" Rong Li said loudly while trying his best not to start screaming. He kept staring at the building Hao Xuan had gone into, trying to see through the walls.

Other people standing beside them listened in and were shocked as well. That was THE captain Deimos! The ruthless 'man-eating' hero! But.....wasn't his personality a bit....different today?

"It really is him!" the princess finally shouted with sparkling eyes, almost passing out. One of the guards behind her had to step up and hold her up.

Perhaps she would be the only bigger fan of Hao Xuan than Rong Li in this settlement.

Although less exaggerated, but many other people had similar reactions to the princess, especially a few girls.

"Is everyone else here?" Hao Xuan asked the guard that was silently leading them towards the main hall of the building.

The insides actually looked like a normal mansion. That wasn't quite what Hao Xuan was expecting and was taken aback. There were rooms on all sides of the triple story building with one massive room in the middle.

"Everyone is waiting for you inside, there is no time to waste."

They stopped outside the hall. The guard moved aside and opened the door, "Please."

Hao Xuan hesitated and looked down at his own appearance. He wanted to change but there wasn't enough time apparently. He walked in, followed by Jin Wang and the guard closed the door, walked back out, and stood beside the Rift as usual.

As Hao Xuan entered the room, he was met with four pairs of eyes. There was a large circular table in the middle with six seats around it. Four of those seats were taken while two were empty.

"Y-Yo," Hao Xuan wasn't expecting there would already be people in the room and glaring at him to boot. He waved at them awkwardly and took the closest seat.

Out of the four, two were female and two males.

One of the guys sitting opposite to Hao Xuan had a hulking build. Although Hao Xuan was quite tall, he wasn't very buff. But this guy's muscles seemed to have muscles, yet it wasn't too much. His body seemed to be perfectly proportioned and gave others a feeling of 'wildness'.

The other guy was sitting straight like a spear. His eyes sharp like an unsheathed blade, making people turn away upon meeting his gaze.

One of the females to Hao Xuan's left was a girl in her twenties. She had a kind expression on her face and even smiled at him a bit. She was adorned in a blue dress that seemed one size too big for her.

The other girl seemed like a teenager. She was to his immediate right. She wasn't very tall and actually looked like a high school junior. And with the sword and heavy armor that was too big for her made it look like she was cosplaying.

Jin Wang smiled at them and also sat down on the other empty seat.

"That seat is not for you. Nor is this place. Leave," the guy that was sitting straight glaring at Hao Xuan said in a loud voice as soon as he saw Jin Wang sit down. But he didn't shift his gaze away from Hao Xuan at all.

"It's an empty seat and there's no name on it. Who says I can't sit here?" Jin Wang didn't take it to heart and made himself comfortable. He looked back at the guy who said that and grinned.
