Chapter 909 909 The Empress Worry
909 Chapter 909 “The Empress“ Worry“
A high pitched voice rang throughout a luxurious room filled with golden silk and jewellery. The owner of the voice raised from the red rosewood chair. Her face turned red from anger and her body was trembling. Veins popped out from her forehead even to her fist.
"Yes, this is true if you don’t believe it just see later when your son come back" Chi Tian laughed hearing the empress sounded angry and shocked at the same time. Chi Tian used a voice changer she trade with points from The AI so that no one will be able to recognize her voice.
"Who are you? How do you know?" The empress took a deep breath before calming herself refusing to lose control. Her voice wasn’t as high as before and her face colour had also turned normal in just a mere second.
As expected of the empress!
The empress thought in her heart that she couldn’t be impulsive. This stranger who called her using this unknown communication stone might have a dangerous agenda against her kingdom and her son!
As the empress, she shouldn’t believe this source that easily. Thinking like this, the empress slowly sat down. While still holding the communication stone, the woman signalled the maidservant to bring her tea.
Drinking tea would calm her down and thus help her to make an accurate decision regarding any matter.
The maidservant waiting beside the empress immediately brought her a cup of tea when she saw the empress signalled to bring tea.
While the maidservant was away, Chi Tian on the other side of the phone didn’t immediately answer. Silence filled the room until Chi Tian giggled before answering.
"Well...I just want to inform you. Whether you believe or not it’s up to you. Sorry your majesty the empress, I can’t reveal who I am afraid that your son will track me down."
Chi Tian very cleverly avoided the question. She was calm and unhurried making the empress even more sure that the one who called her might be telling the truth.
This unknown caller knew her son’s characteristic from how this called said that his son would track him/her down.
From the voice...she couldn’t pinpoint whether the caller was a man or woman!
This is another reason why she could believe the information given by this person. She knew there were quite a number of human cultivators that could change their voice to neither sounded like a woman nor a man.
This technique needed a high-levelled skill so the caller should be one from that big sect in the middle realm or lower realm. If that’s the case...the caller didn’t have any reason to lie.
They even knew how to contact her, the empress of the Long Kingdom. This means they also knew the existence of the higher realm...
"Fine" The empress let out a soft sigh. Considering the mysterious identity of the caller...she shouldn’t pester this person to reveal their identity. Whether the news was true or not...
She would see it after her son went back to the kingdom!
"Good, your majesty is wise. I pity your majesty’s wellbeing so I deliberately tell your majesty this news. Don’t worry my lips are sealed this news stay with me alone. Have a good day your majesty, hope you can solve your internal problem"
Chi Tian smiled before she immediately cut the call without letting the empress asked her anything. The empress sounded like she started to believe her. This is good.
----
"..." The empress stared at the communication stone with complicated expression when Chi Tian cut the call. This kind of person didn’t ask for a reward after telling her such important news?
Suspicious indeed. If this person was one of those people from big sects...they should try to bargain with her to bribe them with treasures so the news would remain a secret yet...
Why did the person say they won’t spread the news? They should know that lying to a dragon race was something outrageous to do it’s most likely for them to tell the truth.
This person didn’t want any reward and would keep the news a secret...just what is their goal?
The empress was thinking when her maidservant back to the room with a tea set on her hand.
"Your majesty here is the tea. This servant brews your majesty’s favourite tea" The short 15 years old maidservant smiled showing her cute innocent face. That black eyes staring to the empress with a pure feeling of admiration.
This girl had a white horn on her head really eye-catching and pleasant to the eyes at the same time. Her horn resembles snow in winter, making anyone feel calm whenever they saw it.
As the girl bend a little to pour the tea from the pot to the cup, her black hair swayed, creating a beautiful illusion of ying and yang. This was all because of her black hair contrasting with her white horn.
"A’wen really know me the best. Good girl, my decision to take you as my maidservant isn’t wrong" The empress couldn’t help but feel slightly better when the maidservant came. Her thoughtful action of bringing the empress’ favourite tea had made her value raise by several folds in the empress’ eyes.
"This servant isn’t worthy of the praise..." the girl called A’wen blushed when the empress praised her. This was a very happy occasion for her to be praised by the empress ah! For a daughter of a lowly official like her to get the empress favour...feels like a dream come true.
