Chapter 59: A Terrifying State of Mind! I

The changes were heavy, profound, and in the span of an instant.

Behind, the body of the Caladrius nearly sank down as shockingly, a human Gem Master tremendously rose in size!

His green battle robes expanded with him, this change occurring in the most fantastical and eerie way possible as his state simply expanded in size until he came to tower over 30 meters.

Nueire herself was over a hundred meters, and Azazel came to stand on her back while being a third her size.

When his eyes opened, flames and lightning crackled.

Arcs of lightning naturally fell over his body as his hands became wreathed in tendrils of bloody crimson flames.

He held the [Barbarian Blood] Ability Gem as after gaining an additional two sockets, he had only further made his gem recipe more perfect.

As he felt the size of his body.

The explosion in his power.

The fact that his vigor had increased by four or five times compared to what it was before!

And even the fact that moments later, a blue star began to spin above him as his body became encased in a glacial armament.

It shook the City of Anan and spread out towards the coming army of beasts, Azazel seeming like a titanic ancient human to appear in the skies above as the pressure he radiated was utterly terrifying.

Claire, on the other hand, was much more controlled.

Her body remained the same.

As if she purposely didn't want herself to enlarge in stature and become too different from Alexander, she remained slightly less than 2 meters tall, but her body felt compact with terrifying waves of lifeforce.

The lightning around her from the [Lightning Grounds] Support Gem was much thicker and denser than others, and it coursed over her skin as it trembled to be released and expanded outwards!

Her eyes opened with happiness as at this moment, she felt a faint connection extending from the depths of her mind towards Alexander.

She focused on this connection and sent out a collection of thoughts.

Her heart beat faster.

And Alexander smiled as he nodded.

'Only when you want me to hear you.'

Her eyes crackled with terrifying waves of lightning, but her smile became even sweeter at the fact that she and Alexander could now speak with their thoughts alone.

She stood beside him, her power reigned in as nobody knew how terrifying it could be when she exploded out.

Nueire arrived at the Walls of the City of Anan, this time beside the Lightning Sparrow, the Golden Flame Lion, and other Minions also appearing beside them like towering titans that looked ahead.

In the distance, the outline of a massive Peacock neared!

Alexander's senses expanded out, his Enneagram letting out a dull glow as he continued his preparations.

The set up of three possible Gem Recipes were ready to be socketed in his Enneagram depending on the enemies he was facing, and whether he even had to rush in selecting his next Gem Recipe in this battle.

With a wider array of selection of Gems depending on how this battle went, he could have an even larger database to choose from- or even a rarer Gem that can hold even more support gems.

But of course, he had to survive to even enjoy any of these benefits.

The massive body of Gem Master Azazel sauntered forward and came to be at the center of Nueire, Alexander and Claire coming to stand beside his massive feet as Alexander…sent some of his thoughts towards Azazel.

And moments later…like the bellow of a giant, his booming voice echoed out.

"YOU DARE COME TO MY CITY?!"

His voice was deep and filled with power.

A few miles away, the massive Peacock neared as a cloud of beasts followed behind it, its figure slowing down in the skies above as barely, the terrifying Beasts atop it could barely be seen with the eyes of powerful Gem Masters!

But the most overpowering aura of all that forced people's eyes to converge on it…was the ecstatic beast at the very center who looked with immense curiosity and interest towards Azazel.

Around her, space seemed to flicker with instability.

Around her, a formless aura spread out that cascaded for miles outwards, this aura arriving on the walls of Anan and radiating a suffocating pressure that actually caused the weak Gem Masters who were following Azazel to sink to their knees!

Alexander and Claire remained standing without an issue.

One was the holder of the Enneagram with shocking features having been unlocked, and the other was connected to him with her power scaled up ridiculously!

They stared at the terrifying cluster of Beasts of Corruption ahead- especially the one with the most terrific aura as on her chest…the brilliance of Seven Gem Sockets could be seen.

Seven!

A Beast Lord!

This terrifying Beast Lord gazed towards Azazel as her red lips opened with amazement.

"Big guy, where did you come from? Are you the one who killed Elder Dadarius?"

Her voice was sweet and sultry as it echoed out.

But the danger it posed…was unfathomable.

Azazel continued to relieve the thoughts of Alexander as he sneered and smashed his chest with his massive hand.

"A mere Elven worm thought they could match against me. What else did he deserve but death?"

The words were meant to provoke.

And boy, did they provoke.

Beside the Beast Lord, the Elder Elven Commanders erupted with heavy waves of Energies, one particularly powerful Tier 6 Elven Beasts rising up as her hair flickered dangerously!

"Elven worm? Elven worm?! You brute!"

The cloudy skies began to change color.

The radiance of green flashed across it ever so briefly as an enraged Tier 6 Elven Beast brought forward dominating momentum and power.

And this whole time, a certain Beast Lord had not even made a move!
