Chapter 210: Untitled

“Girlfriend? Little Brother?” Little Lin’s eyes became twice as large. “When did this happen? I don’t believe it.”

Feng Nai lit his cigarette and said carelessly and sarcastically, “What use is there whether you believe it or not? Does an adult’s relationship have anything to do with you?”

“Little Brother would definitely pamper his girlfriend if he had one. He would make her his top priority and neglect us as a result.” Little Lin’s cheeks had puffed up. “Brother, you’re really stupid. You don’t even know this much.”

Feng Nai reminded him indifferently, “This is about you, not about us. Whether your Little Brother has a girlfriend or not has nothing to do with me.”

Little Lin digested that for a moment but still felt vaguely not very happy. “Who is Little Brother’s girlfriend?”

“A celebrity.” Feng Nai turned his face around, his gaze landing outside the window.

“A celebrity?” Little Lin felt dejected. “Then she must be very pretty. Never mind, get Little Brother on the phone. I want to chat with Little Brother to prove that I’ve yet to fall from grace.”

Feng Nai’s slender fingers flicked the lower part of the cigarette. “You can give up on that thought. Your Little Brother went to take someone home and has yet to come back.”

“Take someone home? Who?” Little Lin blinked.

Feng Nai was absent-minded as he said, “Who else could it be?”

“His girlfriend? She came to your base?” Little Lin felt a severe sense of crisis. “Brother, didn’t you say that people aren’t allowed to enter your base easily? Why did she come to your base? I feel like this Little Sister is very formidable.”

Feng Nai spoke slowly. “I’ll settle this score with your Little Brother.”

Little Lin’s paw faltered. He was just about to say something when Feng Nai spoke again gently. “I’m hanging up.”

After he hung up, he looked across the room, thinking to himself, “The guardian angel is back.”

This was indeed a passionate period. Mo Nan had a terrible sense of time when he was taking a person home.

It was apparent who the guardian angel was.

When Mo Bei walked in, she did not see the figure at first.

She was looking down and changing out of her shoes. As her black locks fell in front of her, her eyes couldn’t be seen. However, the line of her profile was very good-looking.

She had her phone in one hand and was currently texting her brother, telling him that she’d already met Yun Shen.

There was no response from the other end.

Mo Bei placed her cell phone back into her pocket. She was just about to enter the living room when a raspy languid voice spoke. “Training started at 9:20 PM. It’s already 9:40. Miss Yun seems to live just next door. Little Brother, you probably wouldn’t use a miserable excuse about getting lost to say that you forgot to attend training punctually.”

Mo Bei met the other person’s eyes. Upon seeing that there wasn’t much warmth in his eyes, she remained rather aloof and said, “I’m half an hour late. I’ll stay up for one extra hour to make up for it.”

Feng Nai looked up to glance at her. Then, he stubbed out his cigarette and slowly walked closer before he stopped. “Dark Flares’ rules do not permit dating. Know why? It affects conditions, delays training, and emotions are often unstable. As Captain, I will not interfere with your friendships. One thing, though. If you go outside on a date, don’t come back to the base.”

Mo Bei knew that Dark Flares had this one rule. “It won’t happen again in the future. Today, it happened only because she really wanted to see me.”

When Feng Nai heard that, the corner of his lips curled. He didn’t look very much like he was smiling. Instead, when he pressed lower, the minty tobacco scent was rather strong. “Back then in the game, you weren’t this thoughtful. Seems like there are good sides to having a girlfriend. At the very least, you can understand when someone wants to see you…”
