“Tool?”

Iris and Ruth both came to a realization when they heard Chester.

The others might be clueless, but they both knew that Leon obtained the Mirror of Sovereign during the auction in Seacove City.

They connected the dots and concluded that the Mirror of Sovereign was a defensive tool that could fend off even the attack from martial artists in the Peak Overlord State.

“Just how lucky is Leon?”

“Not only does he have an Advanced Power Method, but now he has some kind of defensive tool as well? That lucky jerk!”

Once the others recovered from the initial shock, they all turned to look at Leon enviously.

If Leon was not powerful, they would have all charged at him in an attempt to steal his training methods and tools.

“Damn it! If I knew that Leon was a defensive tool, I would’ve never lost to him,” Chester gritted out in frustration.

“It’s all over.”

Sean and the Fields were devastated, as they all knew that with all the Lapwoods guards defeated, none of them had the power to defeat Leon.

“Sean, Walter, it’s time we settle some old scores!” Leon scoffed and strode toward Sean and the Fields; with each step he took, they felt their hearts sinking in response to it.

“Wh- What do you want? Don’t get any closer!” Terrified, Sean backed away timidly.

“You kept saying how you are going to destroy me, didn’t you? Using your words, I’m going to destroy your power and then break both your legs so that you pay for what you and the Fields have done!” Leon sneered and approached Sean.

The Fields were his enemies for the longest time; as a family from outside of Springfield City, the Lapwoods. meddled with another city’s matter and even went to the lengths of forcing Cynthia to marry Theodore by threatening the Shears. With no regard for morals and laws, the Lapwoods sent three extremely powerful. martial artists to fight him to rob him of his training methods.

All the crimes they committed were unforgivable and Leon was determined to put an end to his enemy once and for all.

“Y–You wouldn’t dare! I’m warning you! I’m the future heir of the Lapwoods and if you hurt me, the Lapwoods will come after you!” Sean threatened.

“That’s not what I have to worry about now. All I know right now is that you’re not going anywhere! Die!” Leon darted toward Sean without hesitation.

“Stop him!” Shocked, Walter and the other elders from the Fields leaped into action and stood before Sean.

“Sean, we’ll stall him for you. Run!” Walter blurted out, before charging at Leon with the others.
