Chapter 1273: Infernal Cormorant(20)
"Store owner, please tell me about the Infernal Cormorant," Theodre requested Aakesh now that the purchase was complete.
Aakesh nodded and then informed him about the beast.
The Infernal Cormorant was a beast of Hell. As its name suggested, the beast was associated with the Infernal race.
The primogenitor of the Royal Infernal was killed in a battle against one of its enemies since brutality was a well-known feature of the creatures in hell.
The death was brutal, to say the least, and the man's blood seeped into the ground.
Coincidentally, there was a Dark Cormorant's egg buried in the ground. That was how the first Infernal Cormorant was born.
Aakesh shared some more things about the beast, and Theodre intently listened to all of them.
"Thank you, store owner," Theodre thanked Aakesh. He then turned his attention to the next product.
Theodre then asked Aakesh about weapons and the training area.
After being satisfied with all the answers, Theodre thanked Aakesh and then went toward the weapons room.
Being directly related to a Sacred Creator level cultivator made him have the best weapons available. Theodre was a bow user, and he had several of them in top qualities.
He went to the pillar, representing the bow. He repeated the process as told by the store owner. Following that, his eyes turned blank, and a transparent golden screen surrounded him.
Theodre found himself in an area filled with white light, and there was a blue screen in front of him for choosing the opponent's race.

Tap! Tap! Tap!
While Theodre was training at Primordial level difficulty, Aakesh opened his eyes after hearing the sound of footsteps approaching the store.
Aakesh turned his head around and sighted an unfamiliar face entering the store. It was a female customer who immediately approached him rather than looking around after entering the store.
The woman belonged to the Sunkashtha race, a female only race. It was a female only race but also a race that couldn't give birth to a child even after mating with a male from another race.
Due to that, their numbers had been stuck at ten since their birth. They were only ten, but they were still a part of the top group as they had two Sacred Creator's level cultivators, while the remaining members of the race varied between Sacred King and Sacred Monarch levels.
They weren't always in the top tier, but after the Devas, the Sunkashtha were the only race that had never lost a member. Devas were the strongest, and none could kill them, but what made Sunkashtha safe was the curse that was associated with their deaths.
There were three types of races in the Multiverse. The first was the race created by the Multiverse's consciousness. The second was the race created by powerful beings like Devas and other powerful members of different races. The third was the type that was born naturally with the flow of time due to a suitable atmosphere.
Sunkashthas were the race that came into the first category, joining races like Devas that were created by the Multiverse's consciousness.
They were the last race to be created by the consciousness of the Multiverse. Unfortunately for them, they were also the weakest.
But since they were weak and yet directly a part of that consciousness, one of the Devas took it upon themselves to protect the race. Since the Devas couldn't participate in the mundane affairs of the three dimensions, they couldn't personally intervene.
So to save Sunkashtha, the Deva initiated a curse. Anyone who killed any of the Sunkashtha members would be infected by the extreme tribulation curse.
It was a very potent yet weak curse at the same time. Anyone infected by the curse would have to face a life-and-death tribulation if there was even a slight increase in their energy levels. Even when Vritrasura was raging in the three dimensions, he didn't dare to harm any of the Sunkashtha members.
It was a potent curse, as getting a slight increase could happen anytime and might kill the infected. It was weak at the same time since it didn't affect the likes of Theodre, who hadn't seen any change in their energy levels over the past billions of years.
Fortunately for the Sunkashtha members, they had grown strong enough not to get killed by those cultivators who had their cultivations stuck with no hope of any change.

"Hello," The woman smiled and said.
The members of the Sunkashtha were one of the most beautiful creatures in the Multiverse, only behind a few races. Even Katrina found her breathing becoming rough when she saw the smile. Autumn had the same reaction.
The only person who wasn't at all affected by the smile was Aakesh, and he nodded in response to the greeting.
The smile on the woman's face turned even wider when she saw no reaction from Aakesh. She wasn't looking for someone who didn't respond to her or the other members' beauty. It was just a rare sighting, so she was surprised.
The members of the Sunkashtha could still have sex, but since reproduction wasn't possible, they lost interest in that, becoming one of the few races that didn't mate.
"I am Eziya," The woman then introduced herself.
"I am Aakesh," Aakesh responded with his usual response to an introduction.
Since there were only ten members in the race and they had a special background, Aakesh knew Eziya's name. Eziya was the youngest member and also the only Sacred King in her race.
Still, she was at the peak Sacred King level and about to step into the Sacred Emperor level.

"I want to enter Panagea," Eziya said after listening to the introduction of the store's products.
Eziya didn't come to the store because she had a reason. She only found herself here by coincidence.
As the Sunkashthas were the most secure race in the Sacred Dimension due to the curse, every member would take turns surveying the entire dimension. It was Eziya's turn to enjoy herself traveling around the dimension, so she came here and found out about the store due to the different energy signatures.
Being directly related to consciousness had made them closer to the energy flowing in the Multiverse, so it wasn't tough for them to find the oddity of the store.
