Chapter 129 - First-day Event
Chapter 129: First-day Event
The first ray of sunshine arrived on the Bisan Kingdom, which brought forth the light and replaced the darkness.
With the first ray of light, people from several races started arriving in the market. Today, there were a lot more people than usual in the streets.
The scene around the market was strange because all the shops selling different things were closed. Punta had yesterday ordered the entire market to shut down for three days, and everybody was invited to a three-day event that would take place in the busiest street of the market.
Everyone's destination was that store where the event would take place. When the crowd reached the store, an awed look appeared on their faces.
A building made out of strange materials stood out, and it was also the only building in the entire market that had its doors open.
On the top of the building, the name of the store was written in golden letters that shined brighter than usual today. Below the name of the store, Strange flowers of different colors adorned the entire building. The building emanated a scent that made everyone calm by only standing near the store.
Since the door was open, many peoples entered the store, while some couldn't let go of the scent emanating from the flowers, so they waited until they had their fill.
Those who entered the store saw many people already waiting in the store. Suddenly a shocked look appeared on their faces as they noticed a being with silver hair and pointy ears standing in one corner. The being wore a mask so they couldn't see their face, but the hair and pointy ears alone resulted in exclamation among the crowd in the store.
Humans had a strange obsession with beautiful things at a level that no other race had, so Elves, who were one of the most beautiful races in the Multiverse, was one of the top races for humans.
It was none other than Lenna who had come earlier than she usually came at Aakesh's store. It was Aakesh who had suggested her to come earlier and without hiding her hair since he wanted to use the beauty factor of her to increase the customers.
At first, Lenna refused, but when Aakesh promised her that he would let her meet a Dragon, she accepted it right away.
Aakesh knew that after Punta closed the entire market, many people would come to the event. But his mission was to have at least 2000 participants, which would be tough after seeing the prices of the products and events he had planned since the Kingdom was, in reality, low-tier.
Since he was in human's dominating area, he decided to use one factor that humans could never resist, the beauty of the Elves. Even though they knew that they would never succeed in impressing her, many would try to impress her, and in turn, Aakesh would get more participants in the event. He would make use of that stupidity of the humans and earn many attendees.
Lenna could see different kinds of emotions in the people's eyes looking at her. Many looked at her with awe, many looked at her with jealousy, while many had greed in their eyes.
She could kill every one of them with a snap of her fingers, so she ignored them and instead waited for the event to start. She would lie if she told that she wasn't interested in the event Aakesh would organize.
With every passing moment, more and more people crowded into the store, but Aakesh was nowhere in sight. The people in the crowd whispered to each other and talked about the Elf.
A few moments later, teleportation happened in the store, and the next moment, George and Evelyn appeared. Everybody in the crowd moved away since they had heard that only cultivators above Void Condensation could teleport, and only a few people in the store were even at the Soul Formation stage.
George and Evelyn came earlier than usual as they were curious about the events. Since they had free time on them, they decided to check every event, and if something interested them, they would participate.
George took a look at the people in the store, while the people in the store hid their eyes, not daring to look directly into the eyes of someone who could kill them, without even thinking of any consequences.
Evelyn found Lenna standing in one corner of the store, so she approached her. Having found no interesting being in the crowd, George went towards Lenna as well.
Aakesh had removed the counter with the pills, and the card machine, ahead of time for the event. Only the counter and the rule board were present in the store. Even the door of the portal room was closed.
"You came early today," Evelyn smilingly commented.
"Yes, Aakesh asked me to," Lenna responded with a calm voice.
"Oh!" Evelyn commented and noticed people in the crowd were afraid of them, but they were secretly peeping at Lenna and her.
Suddenly everybody in the store except Lenna, George and Evelyn, stopped talking and doing whatever they were doing since the royal family of the Bisan Kingdom entered the store.
Punta was in the lead of the group. Behind him were his two royal guards, and behind them were Punta's daughters-in-law, and behind them were his grandsons and granddaughters, including Pento.
He had a disappointed expression since his siblings would also know about Panagea from today. The only saving grace was that he had already become a Level 2, whereas they would only start.
"Your Highness!" Everybody in the crowd bowed and said.
Evelyn's group also noticed the actions of the crowd, but they ignored it since the difference between their power was vaster than the difference between heaven and earth.
Their group stood out in the store since only they were standing while everybody was bowing. Although they noticed an Elf in the group, Punta's guards wanted to do something to punish them. But before they could do something, Punta stopped them since he knew about the masked girl, and she was way more powerful than his Kingdom.
"Stand up!" Punta commanded other people in the crowd.
The next moment, everybody stood up and started doing wherever they were doing.
Suddenly out of nowhere, stairs appeared in the store.. The next moment, a door appeared, and Aakesh stepped out of it.
