Chapter 1557: Completing the Challenge!
Aakesh already knew the array, but the coordinates were unknown to him. Since the man desperately needed the stone, he had already informed Aakesh about the coordinates, and the Sacred stones were provided for the same reason.
There was no stable ground to draw the array, but fortunately for Aakesh, he had no issues doing the same in the air, so he immediately drew the pattern and then used his energy to maintain the position of the Sacred stones.
The next moment, a blinding light emerged from the drawn array and immediately enveloped Aakesh. A few moments later, the light disappeared, and Aakesh had also left with it. The Sacred stones exploded into dust since they were fully drained.

Thud!
A short landing sound rang in the area, but it was more than enough for the peak Sacred Emperor leader. He immediately appeared next to the source of the sound.
A surprised expression appeared in the man's eyes when he saw it was Aakesh.
"You seem to have gained a lot," The man commented. It had only been hours since Aakesh left for the challenge, and at that time, he was still quite a distance away from the breakthrough. But he not only stepped into the True God level, but his foundation was more stable than anything the man had ever seen.
Aakesh simply nodded in response to the man and then, without wasting any time, pulled out the Grestoriac stone.
The man's breathing turned rapid, but he immediately calmed down since he hadn't lived that long for nothing.
The man had more than enough strength to snatch the stone out of Aakesh's hands, but he didn't and extended his hand, asking for it.
Aakesh handed the stone to the man and then asked about his reward.
"If you want, I can give you a large area to rule," The man wanted Aakesh for himself, so he extended a branch to Aakesh.
Unfortunately for the man, he didn't know Aakesh's personality. Aakesh bluntly refused and asked for the reward for the challenge so he could leave the scene.
The man's eyes turned cold after getting refused so bluntly, but he didn't make things difficult for Aakesh. He took a blob of light from his inner world and handed it to Aakesh.
Aakesh had activated the skill [Energy Overseer], and he could see the energy signature of the thing inside the light blob. He nodded since the reward was worth his effort.
It wasn't useful for him due to his unique way of cultivation, but since it could provide significant benefits to Lily or Khaval, he liked the item.
Aakesh immediately stored the item in his inner world, and following that, a white light enveloped him. The leader could only see that happening since it was out of his control and done by the laws of the dimension.
The next moment, Aakesh appeared outside the building. He had decided to leave after using one system protection, and since he didn't use that in the challenge, it wasn't time for him to leave yet.
He didn't immediately walk to the next building but looked inside the building before him. The counters filled with various rare items used for cultivators between True God and Supreme God were visible to him. It was no longer dark and devoid of people but seemed to have become an active store. Numerous people were trying to find themselves a suitable item.
A feeling asking him to enter the building appeared in his heart. He didn't ignore it and walked inside.
The view before him immediately changed. He was no longer before the rows after rows of counters filled with various valuable materials but in an herbal garden.
There were numerous valuable herbs ripe for picking up. Aakehs could see that due to his extensive knowledge.
The next moment, a piece of information rushed to his head and informed him of what he needed to do in the garden.
The arena and the stone were part of the first challenge that made him eligible for the second and last challenge. If he completed it, he would be eligible to own the building and all the items inside it.
If it were someone else, they would have become wild about the challenge since the combined value of all the various herbs, weapons, and other items was billions of ultimate Sacred stones. It was a large wealth for anybody except for Aakesh. He didn't care about it.
He could leave the challenge anytime he wanted if he didn't like it. Completing the first challenge was enough to move on to the next building.
Aakesh didn't leave the building since his primary purpose for entering the city was to complete challenges. In the herbal garden, there were numerous varieties of different herbs, and Aakesh needed to pluck the ripe ones.
The challenge was easy for someone like Aakesh, who had vast knowledge about plants and herbs, but the part after plucking the herb was the real deal.
Every plucking came with a negative effect related to the herb. For example, if Aakesh pulled out a ripe healing herb with enough potency to regenerate broken bones, the negative effect would be the bones breaking.
Aakesh decided against picking up herbs related to healing since they would cause injury as their negative effect, and Aakesh had no intention of enjoying pain there.
He already had herbs in his mind and didn't worry about fulfilling the quotas of the challenge. He had just stepped into the True God level, so he needed to be accustomed to the gained power. His foundation was more stable than anyone, but he needed to get a personal hang of his strength.
To complete the challenge, Aakesh needed to pluck three hundred herbs ranging between the Higher God and Supreme God cultivation levels.
There seemed to be energy restrictions, so Aakesh couldn't use [Energy Overseer] to see through the level of the herbs. Aakesh needed to reach there and touch them to feel the energy.
He walked to the nearest ripe herb and touched it. His expression remained indifferent and he left for another herb. It was an herb for Divine Lord level cultivators, and Aakesh didn't need to waste his time over it.
