Chapter 393: Result?
The cries turned weaker while the black hole grew in size and intensity. Anyone watching the clash could already see the result.
While the clash was going on, the soldiers on the ground weren't unaffected by the pressure released.
Even the higher-level soldiers were kneeling on the ground. They felt as if there was the collective weight of the universe on their backs. While the ordinary soldiers who had survived the lava rain, due to its early exit, burst into a pool of blood since their bodies were unable to handle the pressure.
On the other hand, the sun also suffered from the destabilizing effects of the simultaneous cries of the three heads. It still was able to persist since it was the collective chanting of hundreds of thousands of archers standing on the fort.
Since the Bowl of Annihilation had a cooldown, Aakesh wasn't able to shoot it anymore. Ordinary arrows didn't have enough strength to defeat the sun, so Aakesh decided to go for quantity over quality this time.
Aakesh first shot several multiplication arrows, which in no time covered the sky. The pressure released by the clash of 'Cry of the Heads' and 'Voice of Antiquity' also affected it.
If the arrow separated into two pieces, the pressure destroyed one. It was all a race between them, who would multiply or destroy faster. Tens of thousands of such arrows were fired by Aakesh for this reason.
Only after Aakesh had found the number to sustain itself and grow; did he shoot another arrow.
Next, he shot the five element arrows, which using their combined might, had a destructive strength. He shot tens of them in quick successions, only to stop when it had reached the limit of what Aakesh could shoot.
After Aakesh had shot a large number of arrows in the sky to fight the sun, he had begun chanting the mantra for the 'Inferior Nihility of the Beast'.
"…Gatrt Yatru Namah!"
After the chant was complete, the arrow appeared above Aakesh's head. He then extended his hands, and it appeared on his hands. The bow, grabbed by his other hand, enlarged itself to accommodate it.
He then nocked the arrow on the bow, stretched the bowstring using his right hand, stopping when it had touched his nose, and released it.
The arrow didn't fly far in the sky, but it only stopped when it had reached around twenty meters into the air. It then enlarged itself into a beast head and began expanding.
After the beast head's appearance, it didn't dare to laugh eerily like the previous times since it was in the presence of the Voice of Antiquity. The difference between the lifeform of the creator creature was something unmanageable, so it silently expanded itself while also fighting against the pressure released by the clash of the two chanted arrows in the sky.
Soon the beast's head resulted in the appearance of the one-horned snake. It silently flew toward the sun, minding its own business. The previous haughtiness on its face was nowhere to be seen.
Since the arrow had a side-effect and restricted Aakesh in his movements for three seconds, Aakesh had no choice but to focus on the clash between Voice of Antiquity and Cry of the Heads.
The black hole looked to overpower the three heads as their cries turned weaker.
Aakesh's face turned solemn as the next clash would show the result of the battle. While the arrows engaged, the archer higher-up atop the fort was kneeling with his hands tightly clutching his head. His veins were popping out of his head while he cried in pain.
It was one of the side effects of the Cry of the Heads. The archer would face pain in his consciousness as long as the arrow would stay in existence, and it would grow in intensity with passing time. The other side-effect being its destruction would also entail in death of the archer.
The majority of the chanted arrows came with a side-effect. It was the principle of losing something to gain power.
Voice of the Antiquity was one of the few chanted weapons, which had no side effects when shooting.
It was also one of the reasons behind the lack of chanted weapons in the Primal dimension, as only the strongest were able to handle the side effects. As for the non-side-effect chanted weapon, no creatures had them except the races coming from higher dimensions.
The clash seemed to be going Aakesh's way, then suddenly, one of the three heads situated on the left stopped crying. Instead, it condensed itself and melted into the center head. Similarly, the right head did the same.
It all happened in less than a second. The situation which seemed to be going Aakesh's way took a sudden turn. Instead of the black hole devouring the energy and the head, it began getting fragmented.
"AARGH!"
The next moment, a scream that alone sent chills down everyone's spine echoed in the area. The intensity of the pain for the archer grew severalfold suddenly due to the merging of three heads, and he failed to control himself from crying.
One second passed, two seconds passed…,
Aakesh finally felt himself getting free of any restriction. When he looked at the sky, he found that the one-horned snake was fading, while there wasn't even a hint of the sun being present in the area.
While the black hole that had begun getting destabilized also started stabilizing after getting over the sudden boost of power released by the merging of the three heads.

"Go, fight it!" The ruler ordered the higher-ups, seeing the head getting devoured bit by bit and the black hole getting stronger.
"Yes, your majesty!" The higher-ups accepted the order straight away. They could see the victor, and they needed to act before the black hole became too strong for them to fight. They then disappeared from their locations and appeared in the sky where the clash was going on.
The ruler didn't stop with only this order. He then ordered the remaining soldiers on the fort to jump down and join the fight against the enemy.
The next moment, only the ruler remained on the fort. He then stood up from his throne.. An excited expression on his face, as he could see himself joining the battle a few seconds later.
