Chapter 690: Panagea, Another Adventure(1)
After Aakesh lost the sixteenth battle with the Armadoran and continued the losing streak, he appeared in the selection area. Since it was only a one-time entry for Aakesh, he couldn’t enter again, despite him wanting to, as he actually liked the battle with the Armadoran at that level.
Since Aakesh couldn’t enter again, he stopped thinking about it. He instead looked in front, only to find Lily waiting there for him.
Aakesh didn’t find it surprising since the battle this time took actually long, not due to the fight going for longer, but due to the increased waiting time between the start of new levels.
Aakesh requested the system for his chair, and not long after, it appeared in front of Lily’s chair.
The current Lily was the same size as she was when she had left for her training, a cm shorter than Aakesh.
“So, how did it go?” Aakesh smilingly asked Lily. He had been sharing his plans with Lily for her to carve out her own territory in the Panagea, so he took regular reports from her about her actions..
Lily didn’t waste any time and started telling him everything that had happened with her in Panagea for the day. In just a single breath, she had spoken the entire speech.
Aakesh nodded in appreciation as Lily had not only been following things as he laid out, but she was also adding new things to his plans to make the strategies even more foolproof.
There was no perfect plan when it came to strategies, so Aakesh didn’t mind Lily adding on to what he said. In fact, Aakesh loved it since it showed Lily’s growth, and there was nothing more important to him than Lily.
After the discussion about Panagea came to an end, it was the turn of Aakesh to share how the day went for him.
Aakesh did since it had now become their tradition. After that, they discussed their training, and after that, the discussion came to an end.
The next moment, both of them disappeared from the selection area and appeared in the store’s hall. While with them, Aakesh’s chair returned to the store.
Lily then turned to her birth size, played with Aakesh for a few minutes, and Lily then summoned the door and the stairs.
There was no need for the stairs since Lily could fly, but since the system restricted flying, she had no other choice. The restriction was even valid for Aakesh, so there was no point in her getting out of it.
Lily then said bye to Aakesh and stepped up the stairs.
After she entered the room, the door automatically closed, and not long after, both the stairs and the door had disappeared, waiting for Aakesh or Lily to call them back once again.
The smile on Aakesh’s face disappeared with Lily departing for Panagea. His body then turned toward the portal room as he took a step forward.
As Aakesh entered the portal room, his eyes fell on the leaderboard as usual. After seeing no changes from yesterday, he moved his eyes away and laid them onto a virtual portal.
Aakesh then touched the closest virtual portal, using only the tip of his finger, when an invincible suction force rose from it and sucked Aakesh inside.
The next moment, the store turned entirely empty, devoid of any life, as Aakesh appeared in Panagea.
Yesterday in Panagea, Aakesh had decided to depart the Dark Forest since the journey ahead wasn’t possible for the current him. Aakesh had no plans to overrule his own decision, so he maintained his direction toward the exit of the forest.
Aakesh had only traveled a few miles of distance when he suddenly found himself surrounded by a group of beasts.
From the way the beasts looked at him, Aakesh could understand that there was no way to stop the bloodshed.
The beasts looked like wolves, but they had the mane of a lion and were several times larger than a wolf.
Even the smallest beast in the group was around fifty meters and looked at Aakesh as if he was an ant. The largest creature spanned more than a hundred meters. It looked to be the leader of the group as it stayed at the back but had a look full of majesty as it stared at Aakesh.
The supposed leader was Level 250, while the other beasts varied between Level 240 and Level 245.
If it were before yesterday, Aakesh would have might worried about a Level 250 creature. But yesterday, Aakesh gained two levels and became a Level 239 adventurer. He also assassinated a Level 250 man yesterday.
Aakesh now had the confidence to kill a Level 250 beast. It wouldn’t be easy since the leader looked to be on the verge of evolution to become a Mythical grade lifeform. But since it wasn’t, Aakesh was confident in his own survival and trumping over the creature.
“Roar!”
The leader looked at Aakesh as an easy hunt, so it roared and gave the order to its underlings to begin the assault. Since Aakesh could understand what the creature had spoken thanks to his knowledge of the majority of the languages, he couldn’t help but shake his head in disappointment.
“Don’t kill the prey easily! Play with him, and when I get bored, I will end its miserable life!”
If the creature had any minimal chance of getting mercy from Aakesh, it had now lost even that after thinking of torturing Aakesh.
The minions of the leaders followed its order as they rushed toward Aakesh, continuously drooling a large amount of liquid.
Aakesh stood there straight since he decided to play with the beasts after hearing the leader’s statement.
The beasts felt Aakesh had frozen in fear, so their roars got even louder, filled with hints of mockery in it.
Aakesh didn’t move as he expressionlessly waited for the first of the beast to arrive.
When the beast arrived and was only an inch away from ripping Aakesh’s hands into two, an unexpected scene happened in the eyes of the leader.
A sword suddenly appeared in Aakesh’s hands. It then helped Aakesh cut the creature into so many pieces that it was even difficult for the leader to count.
