Chapter 715: A New Day with New Customers(End)
The queue only grew with each passing moment, and with it, the number of newer customers also increased.
The new customers had no choice but to spend their time standing in the queue since they could either buy products by directly paying the store owner or indirectly pay through one of the three cards published by the store.
“Hello, store owner,” A customer who had entered the store for the first time after learning about it from his partner respectfully greeted Aakesh.
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded in response to the customer’s greeting and waited for the customer to ask the next question.
“Store owner, I want the supreme card,” The customer respectfully requested Aakesh as he took out a supreme Primal stone from his space ring.
Not long after, a dark green card appeared in the customer’s hands. The customer then transferred all his wealth into the supreme card.
“Thank you, store owner,” The man thanked Aakesh and left the queue. The man had come here for Panagea, and now that he had a card, he didn’t need to stay in line and pay directly to the store owner.
Aakesh only nodded, and not long after, his sight welcomed a regular customer, and a similar scene repeated once again.
After leaving the queue, the man went toward the weapons room. All the virtual portals in the store were filled, and there were already a few hundred thousand people waiting for their turn to arrive in the store’s hall. The man decided to train for an hour in the training area.
It wasn’t like the man was a newcomer to the store because he had already learned about it from his partner.
The man didn’t have enough wealth to spend it on Immortal level or the Gods & Demons level training area, so he didn’t pay Aakesh after waiting in the queue for several minutes.
The man then chose the difficult level training area. A golden transparent barrier appeared around the man not long after, as his eyes had turned blank after losing his soul.
Time flew by, and two more hours had passed.
Aakesh’s sight welcomed another new customer for the day. Today was rare when it came to new customers. Their numbers for the day had crossed the mark of a million, so Aakesh had come across many of them.
“Hello, store owner!”
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded as another respectful greeting rang in Aakesh’s ears.
“Store owner, I am Devon, Eliza’s father,” The man respectfully introduced himself to Aakesh.
The customer in front of Aakesh looked in the last phase of his life as his skin had turned wrinkly, while only one or two strips of hair were left on the man’s wrinkly head. No one would believe an Immortal looking like this, but it was his natural appearance and not a disguise.
Eliza was one of the customers who had won big in one of the events in the past. She was among the few to own territory in Panagea for a limited time.
“I am Aakesh,” Aakesh expressionlessly introduced himself in response to the man. Aakesh then looked at the man, waiting for his question or what product he wanted to buy if he already knew about the store products.
“Store owner, is there any way to treat me?” Devon respectfully asked Aakesh.
Devon was old, but since he was an Immortal and became one quite early in his age due to his excellent talent, he should’ve never looked like what he currently looked.
It wasn’t natural, but it was due to a curse he had activated after entering a ruin. For the past thousand years, Devon had been in ruin, aiming to have a breakthrough and reach the peak of Immortality.
Unfortunately for Devon, he had extinguished whatever fortune he had in earlier parts of his life as he activated a terrible curse in his attempts to gain a treasure.
The ruin was from countless years ago and was set by someone from a now-extinct race. In the past, the race had an excellent background in the Primal dimension, but for some reason, they vanished suddenly one night around three Epochs ago. After that day, the race was never seen again in the Primal dimension.
Only a few ruins were left of the race proving their existence once in these parts.
During one of his hunts, Devon activated the trap. At that moment, he didn’t know what had happened to him, but he had only come out of the ruin a few minutes ago.
Only then did Devon find what the curse had done to him. Despite him being an Immortal, he was getting old as the curse was depleting his soul at an alarming rate.
If Devon failed to treat the curse, he would at most have an hour to live.
Devon’s daughter Eliza, who was now also an Immortal suggested Devon to the store. Since it was his daughter’s suggestion, and he also had no other choice, Devon came rushing down to the store.
Unfortunately, he found a large queue waiting in the store. At that moment, his heart had fallen into deep pits of hell as every moment untreated from the curse: his soul would deplete further. It didn’t matter if he was an Immortal; if his soul died, he would also die and wouldn’t even be able to reincarnate.
Unexpectedly, he found that his soul depletion had stopped after entering the store. His heart returned to calm as he joined the queue and waited for his turn to arrive.
Devon didn’t try to make a fuss in this unknown store to meet the store owner earlier than scheduled since his daughter, Eliza, had sternly warned him of not recklessly doing anything.

After hearing the question, Aakesh took a glance toward Devon.
Devon couldn’t help but shudder as he felt him standing naked in front of Aakesh’s indifferent eyes.
Aakesh could see a worm-like creature nibbling Devon’s soul. Since Devon was currently in the store, the worm was inactive. Aakesh sensed that it would become active and quicker after Devon left the store.
Aakesh then looked toward Devon and shook his head. If Aakesh desired, he could destroy the worm and rescue Devon, but unfortunately for Devon, Aakesh wasn’t going to do that for him. At the same time, the store sold no product that could kill the worm since it was one of the strongest curses in the Primal dimension.
Devon felt his heart turning cold after seeing Aakesh’s shaking his head in response to his question.
With that, Devon became the first customer that left empty-handed from the store.
As Devon had expected, an hour after living in the store, Devon lost his life as the worm devoured every bit of his soul.
A look of curiosity appeared in the worm’s eyes after killing Devon, but it couldn’t stay for long as tribulation appeared and attacked it. The worm was something that should have never been in the Primal dimension, so the tribulation turned into a tragedy for the Universe where Devon lived.
The curse not only killed Devon but also his descendants as well. Except for Eliza, only a few more of her family members were left alive, and that was also due to them being far from the Universe.
