Chapter 719: The Store Upgrading Quest(4)
“I will never forget you,” Aakesh smilingly told Lily as he gently rubbed her head.
“Hmph,” Lily only scoffed in response as she didn’t like Aakesh joking with her at this moment.
Aakesh only smiled in response and then focused on the quest’s screen.
Now, Aakesh needed to select one of the leading merchant families in the Primal dimension. At the same time, no family member should be a customer of the store.
It was difficult as well as easy to find a leading merchant family in the Primal dimension. Easy since their names were spread across the dimension, and hard since not even a single family member should have no information about the store.
At the same time, Aakesh couldn’t select any leading merchant family just by the fact of none of their member knew about the store.
Aakesh knew of a leading merchant family that had no information about the store. It was one of the top three merchant organizations in the Primal dimension.
The organization was controlled by the Forad family. Despite it, Aakesh couldn’t go to the family since the Forad family traded in beasts.
There was no point in Aakesh going there. The store didn’t sell beast eggs and cubs, so there was no way for Aakesh to prove the superiority of the First Store. Since things were like that, Aakesh cut the Forad family from his list.

“I will meet the head of Tritans tomorrow,” Maria told Evelyn.
Maria was currently doing a quest in Panagea, and the organization Tritan had an immense role to play in it. So Maria will meet its head tomorrow. She was telling Evelyn about it since Evelyn was in charge of the Skylord’s panagea situations.
“Hmm, do as you deem fit for now. You are doing great,” Evelyn complimented Maria since Maria rarely committed wrong moves. In the last fifty years, Maria had grown the most of the lot in the organization.
Suddenly Maria and Evelyn’s faces turned ugly as they sensed someone attempting to break the protection formation around the building.
“CRACK!”
“CRACK!”
“CRACK!”
The next moment, a cracking sound rang in the entire building as if a glass had cracked.
A look of horror appeared on Maria’s and others’ faces since it didn’t take even a billionth of a second to break the protection formation around the building.
The next moment, the look of horror turned into surprise, and soon, it turned into an excited expression as Maria found the identity of the person behind the breaking of the protection formation.
It was none other than Aakesh, the person Maria trusted most in her life.
“Senior, what brought you here?” Maria respectfully asked. At the same time, she communicated with other members of his organization; it was not to disturb her unless she called them. It also included Evelyn.
Evelyn could only smile wryly after seeing the excitement on Maria’s face. Living with Maria for so many years allowed her to learn everything a person can about her.
When Evelyn had heard about Maria’s past, she had also felt anger over Ben. if not for Aakesh completely disintegrating Ben’s soul, Evelyn would have attempted to revive him and then kill him.
With it, she also understood the reason behind an unprecedented fanaticism in Maria’s heart toward Aakesh.

“I want you to tell me about all the leading merchant families in the Primal dimension,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Maria. Lily, who was lying on Aakesh’s head, took a single glance at Maria and then closed her eyes. For some reason, she didn’t trust Maria a bit.
At the same time, Aakesh waved his hands. The next moment, the protection formation around the Skylord restored itself to its peak. Aakesh didn’t enhance the security, but as a price for getting the piece of information from Maria, he reduced the number of nodes to three.
When Evelyn and George learned about Aakesh’s actions, they would have had their eyes and mouth fly wide open in excitement. Since lesser the number of nodes, the greater the defense.
Earlier, the protection formation had one hundred and eight nodes, so if even one of the nodes got broken, the defense would weaken. Now that there were only three nodes, it would be more difficult to break any of them, resulting in the defense getting stronger.
After hearing Aakesh’s request/order, Maria called Evelyn right away and told Evelyn to bring the piece of information.
Since Maria controlled an organization, it was required for her to have information about these factors. Not long after her order, a scroll appeared in Maria’s hands.
It was the work of an array, which made transfers of items easy. Since the space inside the building was spread across tens of thousands of miles, and not everyone was Tao Palace or Immortal like her, the array was set to make the transfer time quick.
Maria respectfully gave the scroll to Aakesh. Aakesh took it and in no time read all the details written there.
Since Aakesh now had the list of the leading merchant families in the Primal dimension, it was finally time for him to select one family and begin his quest.
“I have reduced the number of nodes to three in your protection formation as a payment.”
Aakesh’s voice rang in Maria’s ears, but he was nowhere to be seen.
The next moment, the scroll landed on the ground since Aakesh wasn’t there to hold it. The landing sound broke Maria from her stupor.
Unaware of the furor Aakesh’s actions had caused in the building next to the store, Aakesh returned to the store.
“Which family should we choose?” Aakesh murmured as the list of the leading merchant families appeared in his head.
He first discarded the family, whose members had appeared in the store.
Not long after, Aakesh was left with seven families. Aakesh wasn’t confident about whether any of the seven family members had appeared in the store or not since not every customer introduced themselves to him. Aakesh had met the members of the remaining family members, so he discarded their names.
Out of the seven families, Aakesh discarded three more since their most influential business wasn’t related to any of the store products.
Now only four families were left on the list, Guptas, Harlaq, Tor, and Massood.
