Chapter 741: Third Day of the Event(1)

Time doesn’t slow for anyone, and a few days have passed in the blink of an eye.

The sun rose on its schedule and forced the darkness to recede in its hole.

With the sunrise, the Bisan Kingdom welcomed another day.

The store, usually crowded by around two hundred million customers, looked even more crowded. The number of people had crossed the mark of a billion, but the majority of the people weren’t here to buy store products since they couldn’t afford them.

The reason behind their appearance in such large numbers was the annual event, and today was the last day.

Many in the crowd were ordinary people who couldn’t even cultivate, but since the store owner charged no fee to watch the event, everyone who could afford to travel to the store came.

The three-day event by Aakesh was the most prominent event in the Bisan Kingdom. It was even greater than the founding day celebration of the Kingdom. These three days brought much revenue to the Kingdom due to people traveling here from all around the Primal dimension, so Brinda had publicly announced a public holiday for the citizens of the Bisan Kingdom.

Usually, the store began its operation at sunrise, but during the event, the store had its opening later. The crowd standing in front of the store was getting bigger with each passing second due to citizens of the Bisan Kingdom continuously traveling.

Around two hours after sunrise, the door to the store finally opened. At that time, the number of people had breached the mark of five billion, which was a new record for the store.

Aakesh had an expressionless face as he glanced at the number of people. Aakesh recognized most of them since many were his store customers, while others were regular attendees of the store’s annual event.

He then disappeared from the gate, while the crowd entered the store like a tide.

Suddenly, one in the crowd burst open into a blood cloud as he had intentions to harm the person in front of him. The people in the crowd did not react to it since there were many new people who attempted this in the last three days and faced the same consequence.

Aakesh, who was standing on the stage prepared for the event, didn’t even find it since the system found it a waste of time.

The stage was the same as the stage used in the first-ever event. Since the system never used ordinary materials, Aakesh decided to reuse the same platform every year.

In front of the stage, there were around three billion chairs. The chair corresponded to the number of people in attendance yesterday at the day’s end.

The number of chairs suddenly started growing since these weren’t enough to accommodate the current number of attendees.

When people reached the door, they would disappear and then teleport to the chair, depending on their sequence of entry. Since regular attendees knew it, they were at the front in the crowd and first to enter, so now they got a closer seat to the platform.

Even though there was no point in getting the seats in front since everyone would only watch the event from the large screen set for every hundred people, people still fought for it for fun.

The people in the front row consisted of the royal family of the Bisan Kingdom and Maria and her organization. Aakesh had reserved a few of the front seats for the King and her direct second generation since his store was in their territory. But since Brinda had no family, she was the only one in the entire Primal dimension to have her spot reserved for the store’s annual event.

People were still settling, and the inflow of attendees was only increasing, so Aakesh silently stood there and left the people in the store to wait for the main event to begin.

The third day of the annual event only consisted of the competition with territory in Panagea as the reward, but today was exceptional since there were two events today. The first was as usual related to the domain in Panagea, while the second was the store’s assistant.

Two days before the beginning of the event, Aakesh had announced that he would be selecting his store’s assistant on the third day of the event, so the five billion plus attendees of the event consisted of almost all store customers.

Since there was still some time before Aakesh would announce the start of the competition, Aakesh decided to check his quest related to the annual event.

The next moment, a blue screen only visible to Aakesh containing the details of the event quest appeared in front of Aakesh.

[Mission Objective: Organize the annual competition for the citizens of the Anga continent and the Primal dimension,

Requirement: After your suggestion, the yearly event has begun, and now it has become a tradition not only for you and the store but also for the people who know the store, so as usual, it’s your duty to organize it once again with the maximum possible zeal and commitment so that every citizen irrespective of their race and level can enjoy it,

Minimum numbers of attendees: 2,500,000,000/2,500,000,000,

Minimum number of competitors: 71,457,921/200,000,000,

Event time: Three days,

Mission reward: Nothing,

Failure punishment: Commission reduced by 100% for a year.]

(A/N: I had mistakenly used the target of two hundred and fifty million attendees when it was 2.5 billion. I have edited my mistake. Sorry for the trouble.)

Aakesh looked at his quest progress. He was still more than a hundred million competitors away from achieving the requirement, while the number of attendees had already gotten filled.

Aakesh didn’t worry about him still being more than a hundred million competitors away from his target since the main attraction of the event would happen today. It would easily breach the mark of two hundred million alone, let alone the combined number; since the number of Panagea users in the store had already crossed the number of a billion for a while.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and soon, the quest screen disappeared, waiting for Aakesh to call it back.
