Chapter 53:Ye Sui’s Suggestion (1)

Song Xiao’s time was running out; therefore, Ye Sui must hurry up. After she took the photo, they went to find the painter immediately.

Ye Sui went up to the painter and sat down, while Chen Shu just stood aside. She asked, “Can you help me draw a picture?”

The painter looked at Ye Sui with a puzzled expression. “... Alright.”

Ye Sui: “Not for me, but for this girl.”

Ye Sui opened the picture of Song Xiao on her cell phone and handed it to the painter, who took it and looked down.

Upon seeing the photo, the painter immediately recalled the girl in the picture. She was his junior, and he had helped her when she was being bullied by others. But as far as he knew, she had died.

The painter’s hand trembled slightly, but he steadied himself and looked up at Ye Sui. “What’s your relationship with her?”

Ye Sui glanced at Song Xiao beside the painter. “She’s my friend.”

“Do you know her?” Ye Sui asked.

The painter controlled his emotions and looked directly at the beautiful girl in the photo. “I helped her once before, but she must have forgotten about me now.”

Song Xiao shook her head. She wanted to reach out to the painter and tell him how could she ever forget him?

When her hand was about to touch her senior, she loosely hung it down. She forgot that she was dead, and they were already separated by yin and yang.

Ye Sui could only sigh. “Can you help me draw the girl in the picture, and can you take the liberty to develop good background scenery?”

The painter kept Song Xiao’s photo. Before Ye Sui left, she saw Song Xiao standing beside the painter. She looked at him deeply, and there was only him in her eyes.

The painter began to draw. He looked at the picture and did not know why some fragments suddenly flashed through his mind.

He had once fallen into the water and thought that he was about to die. At that time, he seemed to have sensed a pair of slender hands pulling him away from the bottom of the river.

On the verge of death, he opened his eyes and seemed to glance at a pair of beautiful eyes. When he woke up, he found himself lying on the ground, but there were no signs of that person.

He had been looking for the girl who had saved him, but he still had no idea.

The painter did not know that the girl he had been looking for was already dead. Even though she had passed away, the soul always stayed beside him.

At this time, she was standing in front of him, only a short distance away, but he would never see her.

The painter touched the photo and gently caressed the girl’s eyes, wondering if it was his illusion. He always felt that her eyes were very similar to the girl who had saved him.

The painter began to paint as time passed quietly. Song Xiao was watching intently. When she saw the slowly unfolding scene, her eyes were shocked.

The painter had now outlined the scene of the bottom of the water. The water was dark, but a light fell from above... The girl’s hand was opened slightly and tilted her head upward as if holding something upstream.

Song Xiao instantly started shedding tears; it turned out that he had always remembered. He remembered that she had saved him. She leaned closer, and a teardrop fell on the paper.

When the painter saw the tear, he touched the paper and said strangely, “Is it raining?” But even though the sky was cloudy, there were no signs of rain.
