Chapter 35: I Will Accompany You Part 1
Ye Sui didn’t noticed anything. She just focused on Chen Shu’s fever and thinking about when he got sick.
In consideration of Chen Shu, Ye Sui spoke seriously, “The walk is over, let’s go home.”
Because the color of the sky has turned gloomy, Ye Sui’s pace was fast. On the other hand, Chen Shu walked slowly behind her, looking at her back and thinking.
Ye Sui bluntly asked, “Do you still want to catch a cold?”
“No.” Chen Shu looked at Ye Sui fierce eyes, his thoughts were interrupted and followed in haste.
After returning home,Chen Shu, who didn’t like to take medicine, was forcibly stuffed with antipyretic by Ye Sui. Under her supervision, he swallowed the medicine honestly.
Ye Sui felt at ease. “Don’t worry, you will feel better tomorrow.”
Chen Shu nodded and said nothing. Because of Ye Sui cheerful appearance, he didn’t not feel vexed.
Yan Lan was satisfied with Chen Shu as her son-in law. He met all the requirements that Yan Lan’s wanted for a son-in-law.
Despite his appearance, Chen Shu was not talkative and was considerate. Ye Sui was her only daughter. She knew that Ye Sui would always have a small temper, yet Chen Shu would tolerate her.
As soon as the meal was served, Yan Lan made another table of good dishes.
Mother’s all over the world would think the same. She and her daughter were far apart, only thinking of having a good son-in-law, who could be good to Ye Sui.
During the meal, Chen Shu was eating quietly as usual, not speaking, only listening to Ye Sui and Yan Lan’s conversation.
During the conversation, Yan Lan mentioned the next-door neighbor, “Next door, Oldman Zhou left too early and he was gone before he could see his son go to college.”
Ye Sui suddenly felt that this matter was a little familiar so she asked one more question. She learned that Oldman Zhou, the neighbor next door, had an accident a few months ago, and his family did not even meet him in the end.
It was a pity that oldman Zhou had a hard time since he was looking forward to his son’s entrance to the college. He was also the top student in this year’s college entrance examination, but he died of overwork.
Because of that, Oldman Zhou’s wife was shocked and suddenly fell ill.
In addition, Olman Zhou saved many years of money, however, his family could not find his bankbook. Oldman Zhou’s son saw that his family was in a hardship, decided he had to stop studying and take care of his mother while working.
So every time, Yan Lan would help the neighbor next door.
Just then, Ye Sui remembered the middle-aged ghost on the ghost bus yesterday. The man’s experience was too similar to what Yan Lan said.
After dinner, Ye Sui has been thinking about what Yan Lan said just now. If the middle-aged ghost on the bus is the Oldman Zhou next door, would she help or not?
Ye Sui saw that Yan Lan was holding something and was about to go out. “Mom, where are you going?”
Yan Lan pointed to the next door, “I specially prepared more dishes, to give next door.
Ye Sui seemed to have made up her mind. She immediately stood up and took the thing in Yan Lan’s hand. “I’ll take it and you can rest.”
Ye Sui did not explain the reason and went directly next door.
Zhou Huai Wang, the son of Uncle Zhou, who have opened the door. After being stunned, he calmed down.
“My mother cooked an extra bowl of soup and family can’t eat enough, just give aunt to supplement the body.” Ye Sui handed over the bowl in her hand.
Although Zhou Huai Wang’s eyes were somewhat confused, considering that Ye Sui had never interacted with them before, he said thank you and took the bowl.
“You wait for me first, and I will return the bowl to you.”
Ye Sui naturally did not have the unreasonable, she waited for Zhou Huai Wang to go to the kitchen, immediately began to sweep the whole room.
The house was not big. However, it was very clean and all the decorations were shiny at a glance. Ye Sui soon noticed a small table in the corner of the house. There is a photo on the table, and the middle-aged ghost on the bus last night had the same face.
After Ye Sui confirmed her guess, she returned home. Because Chen Shu was still ill, Ye Sui and didn’t want Chen Shu to accompany her out of the house.
Ye Sui began to rummage in the room, looking for something that could cover up her view.
At this moment, Chen Shu suddenly opened the door and came in. He saw Ye Sui’s movements and asked, “Are you going out? Chen Shu asked in affirmative tone.
Ye Sui nodded. “I left something at the bus stop yesterday.”
Chen Shu’s face sank. “Over at the cemetery?” He remembered Ye Sui was very timid and scared when waiting for the bus there last night.
“You stay at home when you are ill, and remember to drink more hot water.” Ye Sui gave a reminder to Chen Shu.
Chen Shu did not respond. “I will accompany you.”
Ye Sui didn’t look up: “No, you have a good rest and don’t mind me.”
“I’ll accompany you.” Chen Shu repeated it again. He saw that Ye Sui still wanted to refuse, however, his tone was firm.
Seeing Chen Shu’s stubborn temper, Ye Sui has no choice but to take out the scarf just found in the cabinet.
The scarf was not thick, but there was something wrong with the color.
Ye Sui ignored Chen Shu’s preference, Ye Sui wrapped the colorful scarf around Chen Shu’s neck.
It was really strange. It turns out that a good-looking person can look good in such an ugly scarf. Chen Shu looked reluctant, but he didn’t take it off either.
“It’s windy outside. I’m afraid you can catch a cold again.” Her reason was reasonable, there is no excuse to refute.
Ye Sui stretched out her hands and pulled the scarf up. Just blocking Chen Shu’s lower half face, specifically highlighted Chen Shu’s deep eyes.
Ye Sui quickly drew back her hand. “Alright, let’s go.”
