Volume 4 - 291 Water of Life 2
On their next exit, a gigantic planet, a few times bigger than Earth showed up right in front of them.
Unlike Earth, which was mostly covered in blue and oceans, this planet was fifty-five percent covered in green, which meant that oceans of forests had covered the planet instead of oceans of water.
Around twenty percent was made up of red areas. These were the deserts and the empty fields on the planet. Having said that, one difference of this planet with Earth was the fact that its soil was seemingly red.
And the remaining twenty-five percent was made up of water, the seas and oceans.
"Woah... so many forests and green areas!" Exclaimed the golden beauty gazing at the planet before her, which was beguiling in its own right.
"Master, is this planet livable for humans? Does it provide the necessary stuff like oxygen? Isn’t it toxic to them?" Her eyebrows raised, she continued staring at the planet in front of them while throwing one question after another. She was indeed very curious.
"Hmm, it’s should be roughly suitable for us to live on and there shouldn’t be anything toxic that endangers human life within the atmosphere." Said Virus relaxedly.
"Is there also any intelligent life on the planet?" With her eyes shining a bit, she inquired again out of pure interest.
"You might know about it soon." As he uttered that, the spaceship disappeared into the atmosphere of the planet in its invisible mode.
...
Pssh~
The door of the spaceship opened up as an excited golden beauty dashed out in a hurry.
Next, while touching the ground, she voiced, "Woah! Master, look, the ground’s covered in red everywhere! It’s as if the whole planets soaked in blood."
"These trees... they seem to be new species of trees... I’ve never seen anything like them on our own Earth." At this point, she turned her head toward the sky. However, instantly, she became mesmerized.
Because, right now, in her line of sight, she was gazing upon two suns shining from right beside each other. However, since they were rather distant from the planet, the sight didn’t differ by that much from the view of the sun from Earth, the only dissimilarity was the fact that there were two of those blinding lights now.
What had truly mesmerized her, however, was a gigantic planet in her line of sight since it was so close that it felt in case she reached out her hand, she would be capable of touching it.
This scene, other than being extremely beautiful, was in fact also somewhat terrifying to look at, since it gave one the illusion that the other planet was just about to collide into this one!
Also, all these things aside, a river was floating down from beside them. Nonetheless, it was no ordinary river as it was slightly emitting a bright light from itself. Its water was shining!
Running before the flowing watercourse, sinking her hand into it, she muttered peacefully, "Ah... this river... I’ve never seen a river as pleasing and alluring as this..."
A few seconds passed. At last, finished with her appreciation of the rare scenes around her, standing up, she asked in total anticipation, "So, master, where is that rare ’Water of Life’ you’re searching for? Let’s go find it!"
"Didn’t you just touch it?" Grinning amusedly, Virus questioned.
"W-what? You can’t possibly be saying... the entire river?" As her eyes popped open in shock, she stared at the river once again. Then, she added, "This entire river? But... that’s too much! Shouldn’t it be something rarer?"
A broad smile hanging over his face, Virus added, "Yes... it’s supposed to be extremely rare... in more than one million years later. Right now, there is plenty of this water."
"Th-that’s amazing! Doesn’t the ’Water of Life’ have any other uses? I mean, with so much at hand... master can easily do whatever he wants with them without any worry about running out of them!" With flashing eyes of excitement, she muttered.
"Haha... of course there are many uses for it! Let me tell you, this water’s going to be very helpful for our cultivation later on!" He said, matter-of-factly.
"Let’s not talk about it’s benefits to cultivation. Just drinking it on a daily would keep the body in the most optimum condition, meaning, you won’t ever get sick due to being weak. And the possibility of catching diseases like cancer would be nearly zero percent!" He added further.
Nonetheless, not stopping there, he went on, "And most importantly, if a human being continues to drink it constantly on a daily basis, over time, it would greatly improve the condition of the body. And that would gradually result in the lifespan of a normal person increasing greatly! For example, instead of living for around 100 years, a human being will be capable of living for nearly 1,000 years at least, and it stops being effective around that time just because the body develops a resistance to the water. If the body did not develop that resistance, theoretically, as long as one constantly drinks it, that person should be able to live indefinitely, which means that the person would practically be immortal!"
"Anyway, in short, you can say it results in substantial growth in the lifespan of an average person which is priceless in its own right! And that’s also why it’s called the ’Water of Life’!" He concluded.
"Wow, that’s amazing master... if we sell this on Earth, I bet those tycoons would spend their entire fortune just to live longer!" Voiced the golden beauty with shining eyes of expectation.
"Of course! Time is money, but money’s not time." Nodding his head, Virus agreed nonchalantly.
"Anyhow, those were not its only uses... another use for it is that it’s considered a high-quality ingredient for cooking, making tea, coffee, etc. so, from now on, you can cook and make the things you want using this water." He also noted shortly.
