Lu Li and Azure Sea Breeze’s chemistry was extremely good. After all, they had been in the same team for such a long time already.

As soon as he heard Lu Li’s instructions, he instantly went into a defensive state and blocked the monster’s field of vision. Then, he began to unleash his DPS from the entrance of the stairs. He did this because if he was ‘Feared’, the monster would still be trapped.

A lot of time was used to secure the monster’s aggro and positioning with a strategy like this.

Originally, everyone was worried about the possibility of achieving the First Clear, since Sorrowless and his team was also attempting this Instance Dungeon. Shortly after, Square Root joined the guild’s chatting channel.

“Hahaha...they died again. This is so addicting. How are you guys going?” Square Root chuckled.

“This monster is a little difficult to deal with, but there aren’t any casualties as of now,” Lu Li answered, then asked how Sorrowless was doing.

From the pairing and partnerships of the difference classes, Sorrowless’ strategy would be relatively straightforward, since they had people ready to rotate and tank hits from the Boss. However, in terms of skill, they were clearly lacking.

Square Root then sent a video with subtitles into the guild chat.

Lu Li nearly laughed; Glory Capital already had been annihilated twice. The video then showed Sorrowless becoming increasingly frustrated at the battle.

However, it was obvious that Ruling Sword would not get the First Clear if Sorrowless’ team was not get wiped out.

It was truly unfortunate that they had been wiped out twice even before seeing the Boss. However, this was always a possibility if someone in the squad was unlucky. Glory Capital would have sent people to scout the dungeon out, but they would not have known the details.

Lu Li knew the strategy to clear this dungeon, so he could afford to be reckless and still have a favourable outcome.

After clearing the monsters in the room, they proceeded down the stairs.

Here, they could complete a quest that Hachi Chan had taken up previously – ‘The Barov Family Fortune’. This quest had originated from Alexi Barov, who was a brother of Weldon Barov.

However, it was clear that these ex-brothers were no longer who they used to be.

They were obsessed with the land and wealth of the Barov family, and had fought each other extensively over these things, to the point of constantly plotting murder.

Alexi Barov had requested for the adventurers to steal the four pieces of the lease before his brother could do anything.

The first piece was now in front of their eyes and everyone could take it once. After clearing this place out, they could then proceed to the second room, which was extremely large. This meant that the monsters were quite spaced out, which was rather difficult for them to handle.

They needed to be wary of skills like Sap and Hex and also had to instantly crowd-control the Scholomance Summoners. Otherwise, they would summon an army of pesky little skeletons.

These skeletons would self-destruct, and would not deal HP damage, but eat away MP.

HP could be restored using Healing skills, but MP could only be restored by potions or taking a break from the battle. This would waste precious time for the First Clear.

To achieve the First Clear, they could not be reckless for the sake of saving time, but still needed to be efficient. They had to gain control of the Summoner, then clear out the smaller minions. After clearing the minions out, they could then focus on the Summoners.

“Follow the walls and clear out the smaller monsters first.” After entering deeper into the room, the groups of monsters grew larger and stronger.

This was a school, so there were many students and their summons, along with some Undead Nerubians. Lu Li did not know why there were these monsters around; perhaps they were for testing purposes.

The most difficult part about fighting these Nerubians was their web-throwing.

The players caught in the webs could not move or use skills.

After clearing out the small monsters, Hachi Chan took a Quest Item – a Vial of Innocent Blood – and placed it under the brazier to heat it up. Once it was heated, a tense atmosphere began to envelop the room.

“Let me devour your souls...” a large copper-grey bat hissed.

This was Kirtonos the Herald, a monster similar to a gargoyle. It was said that he had been birthed artificially and was extremely loyal to his creator. As for the adventurers, he would devour any souls that came close to him.

Kirtonos the Herald was not an overly-strong Boss.

Although he was level 50 and had a matching HP bar, his main attack was Poison, so Sesame Rice Ball had them covered.

As an Alchemy Specialist, Sesame Rice Ball’s antidotes were more than enough to dispel any poison effects from Kirtonos.

By this time, Glory Capital had just encountered Kirtonos, weary and tired. When this happened, Lu Li was already telling Remnant Dream to loot the corpse.

First try, First Clear – they were not sure if Glory Capital was capable of such a feat.

“Penelope’s Rose. What a beautiful flower!” Remnant Dream held a blood-red rose in her hands which was of the utmost beauty. No matter how you looked at it, if it was given to a female as a proposal, it would be perfect. Even from a mere glance, they knew that this was something valuable.

Penelope’s Rose was an extremely prestigious Secondary weapon. It was Dark Gold grade and could be used by Spell-based DPS classes.

The Rose was given to Jaweika. After all, most people used Staves instead of a Dagger like he did. Furthermore, his secondary weapon was not as strong as this one anyway.

To receive an equip in his first run with the team was an honour. He did not say anything after this.

Gravestone War Axe – Gold grade. No one wanted it, so it was put into the Guild’s vault.

Frightalon – a Dagger-type weapon. Lu Li did not give a second glance and also placed it in the Guild’s vault. These weapons were extremely valuable for an ordinary player, but ever since they had cleared Stratholme on Nightmare mode and the three Bosses in the Underground, their standards of equipment had been unbelievably raised.

Besides the weapons, there were also two Enhancement Stones and a rare material.

Lu Li took one of the stones, but did not bother to use it on the equipment that he had now. After all, they would be replaced sometime in the future anyway.

“They got wiped again. The MT was poisoned to death! Hahaha!”

To Ruling Sword, the failure of Glory Capital was uplifting news. After all, they had resented and envied the fact that Glory Capital could broadcast their battles to the world.
