Chapter 1108: Flame Wrath

After defeating the Boss, everyone became abnormally calm. This was because no one knew what to expect from the drops.
In the near future, players would be praying for the Circle of Flame to drop. If it dropped, everyone would be fighting over it, especially the Mage classes.
There was a wide variety of Armor for people to wear. These were typically class-based, such as Plate Armor, Cloth Armor and so on. However, Circle of Flame could be equipped by anyone.
As a Legendary headgear, the properties of the item were quite strong. For Mage-DPS classes, this was a dream come true. If it was to be rolled for, only Mage classes participated in the roll.
Lu Li only had three members from Ruling Sword with him currently. Even after including Water Fairy, there were still no Mage-DPS classes, so they were less excited.
“Flame...”
Lu Li could not believe it; could it have been the Circle of Flame? Wendelian then read out, “Wrath.”
Flame Wrath and Circle of Flame – two similar names. However, the value of Flame Wrath simply could not be compared to Circle of Flame. Since they were both Legendary items, the others’ eyes lit up at the sight of it, since they did not know of the Circle of Flame which was much more valuable.
It was fortunate for Lu Li that it had not dropped. After all, the Circle of Flame would not make him stronger. He could only cheer himself up by thinking that.
First Clears actually boosted the drop rate by a tremendous amount. It was designed this way, so that those who achieved First Clears had a much higher chance of receiving strong items. This would, in turn, lead to many people grinding that dungeon for the items. However, since the bonuses of the First Clear were no longer in effect, the drop rate became abysmal.
This was Lu Li’s own idea, which did not affect the determination and drive of his party members to continue.
Going forward, the team moved into a Metal Casting room, which was where the Dark Iron Dwarves smelted most of their Dark Iron. All the ore that was gathered in the Depths would often be turned into armor and weapons, or other equipment and items.
A large Forge stood in the middle of the room. The smelted ore could be seen sloshing around inside, while the workers and puppets were hard at work.
The team easily found the guard of this place: Panzor the Invincible.
This Boss was not commonly encountered by the players. This was because sometimes, if you were lucky, you would meet him here. If you were unlucky, then you would only need to kill these workers and puppets before being able to move to the next area. However, no one could figure out the mechanics behind the Boss appearing.
Panzor the Invincible was a robotic puppet, created by the Golem Lord Argelmach with the purpose of battle in mind. The loss in the War of the Three Hammers led to the redundancy of Panzor, so he was posted to this place as a guard.
Hidden Boss were truly a rare sight. Only the lucky ones could encounter them, so the Boss difficulty wasn’t too hard either.
In less than half an hour, the team had already crushed it.
After examining its corpse, Lu Li acquired some materials that he could use in Engineering. The other players also received some materials, but they gave it all to Lu Li, since they could not be bothered with these small things.
The drops were fairly mediocre anyway.
The team did not waste time and moved to the next area, finding themselves in Golem Lord Argelmach’s territory.
Panzor had created by this guy, so Argelmach was likely a formidable enemy.
Argelmach was someone who pursued an undying body to the extent that he created a copy of his body from magic. There were even rumours circulating that he had used various types of dark magic to allow his new creation to take in his soul as a vessel after the destruction of his flesh body.
Argelmach’s position in Shadowforge City was quite high, so his chamber was extremely spacious.
At the entrance, there were high doorsteps for them to climb over. Lu Li did not understand why they would build these doorsteps for Dwarves, so he just attributed it to a weird preference of Argelmach’s.
“The two sides are too far apart. We might as well not clear the monsters.”
Azure Sea Breeze hated fighting against ranged monsters, and these all had guns.
“We should still kill them just in case. If you go over to the pole over there, you’ll be in the blind spot,” Lu Li said, then quietly laughed. Argelmach would indicate for these small monsters to overwhelm them, which would inevitably lead to a wipe.
It took at least ten minutes for them to clear the monsters, which was more time than defeating Panzor.
After clearing these monsters, they faced the Golem Lord and two other Golem puppets.
Truly, the Instance Dungeons in Blackrock Depths were often the topic of discussion within players. On one hand, these dungeons were designed masterfully. However, on the other hand, they had made the dungeons too complicated and easy to get lost in, not to mention the sheer number of Bosses.
Nevertheless, this was not a problem since Lu Li was at the helm. Since Lu Li was a veteran, even if they did get lost, he would be able to guide them out quickly.
There was not much resting time between each fight; there was seemingly no light at the end of the tunnel. This time, after wiping around five to six times, they finally broke through to phase two.
The tough part about phase was the erratic attacks from the Golems, so the main tank could not maintain aggro.
In the end, Lu Li organised a triangle formation, where there were three points that the Golems could attack. Once one of the Golems approached the points, someone else who was capable of tanking it would tank the hit. It was through this method that they were able to pass the phase two stage.
Golem Lord Argelmach began to act when they reached phase two.
It was then that the team realised that they were deceived by his original appearance. After thinking about it, a Shaman would have definitely learnt how to use Chain Lightning, since it was one of their signature moves.
Although the fight was difficult, there weren’t any squad wipes. After all, their equipment and skills were of a sufficient standard.
It was safe to say that even after two months, there would not be any squads that travelled to the Blackrock Depths equipped with Legendary items, like this All-star squad.
After reaching phase three, a squad wipe swiftly followed.
A Lightning Storm, with its eye centred at Argelmach’s position, began to rapidly spread out and envelop the squad members. As a result, most of the team died, except the ones who recognised that Argelmach was about to cast a skill and mitigation before it hit them. However, they were left with barely any HP.
After wiping at phase three, they had to start all over again from the beginning.
They learned from this mistake and grouped together while Sorrowless used an AoE shield.
