After the battle, Remnant Dream enthusiastically went to loot the body.
Velratha dropped another part of the Witch Doctor Set, which was conveniently the one that they needed to gain the set bonuses. Lu Li immediately gave it to March Rain, but whether she actually decided to wear it was up to her.
There was also a level 35 Silver leather Shoulderpad which was given to Hachi Chan.
This equip didn’t have great properties, but it had an interesting special effect. There was a certain probability of damage taken being transferred to a teammate.
As for the negative consequences of forcing a teammate to take the damage, this wasn’t something the girl considered at all.
Hachi Chan had many strange items like this and everyone was used to it. This additional one was no big deal.
They were now up to the last Boss, which was also the one that Mazoga had asked them to kill. Gahz’rilla seemed to live in the pool. Azure Sea Breeze threw some rubbish into it in the hopes that it would summon the Boss, but it had no effect.
It looked like they really did need to go to the Hinterlands to find the Zul’Farrak Hammer.
In fact, most players that reached this point would be at a loss.
Many teams would be stuck here for a while before later finding out about the hammer.
As someone who had experienced rebirth, Lu Li naturally knew how to find the hammer. However, he didn’t want to make it too obvious, so he tried his best to look out for clues in the Instance Dungeon and would listen to his other teammates when they discussed this topic.
What he didn’t expect was running into Mazoga, who saved him from making up an excuse about why he knew the hammer was in the Hinterlands.
This Instance Dungeon couldn’t be continued without the Zul’Farrak Hammer, which meant that everyone had to eventually go the Hinterlands. Right now, with exception of some explorers, there were few players fighting in that area.
The players could be instantly transported to the Hinterlands Alliance Camp at the Eagle’s Nest in Gadgetzan. Otherwise, they would have to travel for a few hours on foot.
The Hinterlands were south of the Arathi Highlands, southwest of the Hillsbrad Hills, west of the Alterac Mountains and north of the Eastern Plaguelands. The area was filled with lush deciduous forests, tall oaks and maple trees.
Most of the trees were ancient and thin flecks of filtered light shone through the treetop canopy.
The ancient roots and branches were thick, and a river was gently washing over some pebbles.
They had to admit that this was a beautiful place to look at, even more so than the nature reserves that had been established throughout the real world.
A mountain of historical data, imagination and countless design geniuses were required to create this world.
The Wildhammer Dwarfs ruled most of this area, but many High Elves could be seen within the Eagle Nest Alliance territory. It was likely due to their Elf identity, but the dwarfs didn’t seem to mind their arrival at all. Hachi Chan even received quite a few quests which benefited everyone.
Lu Li also received a quest.
Some of Trolls had actually stolen some Griffin eggs from Eagle’s Nest to train them for themselves. If they were successful, they would definitely impede on the rule of the Wildhammer. The dwarf pleaded for them to take the eggs back and punish the Trolls.
Lu Li had completed this quest in his past life. At the time, many players though that you could acquire the Griffin mount through this quest.
Unfortunately, that turned out to just be a rumor. This quest didn’t even involve a Boss, so there was no way that the System would reward such a rare mount for it.
However, once players reached level 35, they could buy their own horses in the main city. As this slowly gained popularity among the players, the horse would become a common mount.
It was just unfortunate that the horse became the common mount, and not something like a Griffin which could run on land and fly for a short period of time.
Lu Li had the Headless Warhorse, so he didn’t want the Griffin Mount as much as he did before and wasn’t distracted. His quest was easily completed with Moonlight’s help.
Only the two of them had received this quest; the others received different ones.
In addition to completing this simple quest to save the Griffin’s eggs, they were also responsible for farming the Zul’Farrak Hammer from the Altar of Zul. As the monsters were only of an elite level, the two of them would be more than capable. They didn’t require everyone to go.
Lu Li thought that the idea of summoning Gahz’rilla with a hammer that could only be found in a forest was quite far-fetched, but he could only blame the troll’s ancestors for setting it up that way. There must have been some kind of groundbreaking event that caused the Sandfury Trolls to be isolated, as the Jungle Trolls were quite similar to them.
There was no Boss at the Altar of Zul. The Boss of these Trolls was the Evil Priestess Hexx; she was currently at Jintha’Alor.
Lu Li planned to wait until the guild’s elites were level 40 before going to kill the Evil Priestess Hexx. She had a good chance of dropping Gold equipment.
In his previous life, Lu Li had participated in fighting this Boss, so he knew the strategy for her in detail.
If you attempted to fight her without knowing the strategy, the System would eventually tease you by saying that the ground had been stained red. Even if you had 300-500 players, it would still be suicide.
What if you sent more players?
Well, if you packed all the players together, most of them wouldn’t even be able to cast their skills onto the Boss. It would be easier for those players to just kill themselves.
When they reached the ruins which contained the Altar of Zul, Lu Li observed the situation.
"Their level is a little high. Let’s take them one at a time."
"Alright." Moonlight didn’t object.
The two of them rushed forwards and beat at the Troll Worshipper violently.
The Troll Worshipper’s level was level 45, Lu Li was currently level 39 and Moonlight was level 37. Fighting it was a little difficult, but fortunately, they both had exquisite equipment so the fight only lasted a minute or so.
Lu Li looted the body and only found some Troll cloth.
"It didn’t drop. Let’s do another."
"Next time I’ll loot; you’re unlucky." Moonlight had silently watched Lu Li and didn’t trust his luck.
"As you like," Lu Li nodded indifferently.
The Zul’Farrak Hammer actually had quite a high drop rate; most players could find it within two or three monsters.
However, Lu Li and Moonlight were so unlucky that they had killed over 30 monsters and still hadn’t found it. They even needed to wait for the trolls to refresh twice before it finally dropped. Most of the others had finished their quests in the Hinterlands by now, and none of them needed to kill any monsters. The monsters here were quite high-levelled, so they could come back to farm here at a later time.
Regular quests didn’t have a time limit anyway.
