Chapter 1665

"Killer X might be hiding in the crowd and targeting the mayor and the mayor's daughter, Ms. Lewis."

Sean said flatly.

"And what's that got to do with you taking Miss out despite the danger?"

Uriah asked sternly.

Sean continued saying, "I'm planning to use Ms. Lewis as bait to lure out the killer."

It was silent.

Three seconds later, Uriah bared his teeth and yelled, "You b*stard, how dare you..."

As he spoke, Uriah wanted to draw his sword.

However, at that moment, a powerful pressure suddenly burst out of Sean's body!

Uriah felt he was in a different environment. He was no longer in front of a supermarket or on a broad street but on a smoldering battlefield!

Bodies were everywhere as far as the eye could see.

Corpses were scattered all across the mountain.

Red blood stained the ground, and broken shell cases covered the ground.

Uriah's body trembled instantly!

In an instant, his surroundings returned to the way it was before.

He was still at the supermarket entrance and the street. The pedestrians hurrying along the streets did not change.

Everything that had just happened seemed to be Uriah's hallucination.

"Don't draw your sword at me. It will kill you."

Sean said flatly.

Uriah could not help nodding. His hand subconsciously left the hilt of the sword.

Shania nearby was dumbfounded.

She never dreamed that the bodyguard her father paid two million dollars a month would not even have the courage to draw a sword in front of Sean!

"What happened... just now?"

Uriah looked around blankly for a while before finally sobering up.

Then he noticed something was wrong.

What was that pressure that just exploded in the young man surnamed Lennon? Was he murderous?

How murderous Sean must have been to make him feel like he were on the battlefield?

However, how was that possible?

He looked like he was in his 20s-as young as himself. How could he be that murderous?

Sean had already walked off into the distance at this point.

"Miss, follow me back to the mayor's residence. It's dangerous out here."

Uriah said solemnly to Shania.

Shania looked at Uriah before looking at Sean in the distance. Then she smiled playfully, "No!"

As soon as she said that, Shania quickly ran after Sean.

Uriah gritted his teeth before striding off and catching up with Sean and Shania.

"Miss, it's dangerous out here. The mysterious Killer X could be hiding in the crowd and trying to assassinate you at any moment. They can target you easily if you wander outside like this!"

Uriah said earnestly.

"I know, but I'll be alright with Mr. Lennon protecting me."

After a pause, Shania added, "Besides, as the mayor's daughter, it's my job to protect the people. If I can use myself as bait to lure out the killer and get rid of them, so what if I get hurt? I can afford it."

"If the killer does appear, you will suffer more than getting hurt. Miss!"

Uriah said in resignation.

"It's okay. With Mr. Lennon here and now you, I don't believe any killer could get past the two of you. You'll take them down if they show up!"

Shania said confidently.
