Chapter 2389

The dwarf-like man watched Sean quietly, waiting for his answer.

Moments later, Sean laughed and asked, "Did Blaze start this organization?"

There was a look of disbelief in the dwarf-like man's eyes.

Without hesitation, he immediately drew the bow in his hand. Sharp arrows shot toward Sean.

Sean dodged the sharp arrows like a phantom.

Before the dwarf-like man could draw his bow again, Sean's tall figure appeared before him.

"You don't have to answer me anymore. Your actions have told me the answer."

Sean looked condescendingly at the dwarf-like man as he said indifferently.

The dwarf-like man had a glimmer of horror in his eyes before retreating backward at a terrifying pace.

He was fast, but Sean was faster.

Before he could take a few steps back, a large hand had gripped around his neck.

A terrifying pressure came from around his neck. Sean lifted the dwarf-like man by his neck.

"What the hell is Blaze up to? Who gave him the nerve to go after a mayor so openly?

"It seems you don't know. In that case, why don't you die?"

Sean looked indifferently at the dwarf-like man in his hand and said coldly.

Crack!

Once he finished speaking, there was a piercing bonecracking sound.

The dwarf-like man's head cocked, and there was no more movement.

Tossing him aside, Sean turned around and walked into Winters Residence.

Passats were speeding up the street not far from Winters Residence.

Screech!

The Passats came to a screeching halt.

Hayes got out of the car with his men.

When he saw Sean, Hayes' expression changed.

Hayes wondered what the jinx, Sean, was still doing in Winters Residence.

Hayes secretly cursed, but he was smiling.

"Oh, is that you, Mr. Lennon?

"Why are you in Winters Residence at this hour?

"If I’m not mistaken, you've completed your task of protecting Millie. Why haven't you left, Mr. Lennon?"

Hayes asked countless questions.

Sean replied with a chuckle, "I just finished the task, and Mr. Winters gave me another one.

"Now that I’m still on duty, why don't you just leave like before, Mr. Hayes Winters?"

Hayes' expression changed, not expecting Fabian to know they would not give up and would launch a second attack at night.

What surprised him more was that Sean had accepted Fabian's task and was still guarding Winter's Residence in the middle of the night.

"Mr. Lennon, you promised me you'd stay out of my business with Fabian when we meet again!

"Are you going back on your word, Mr. Lennon?"

Hayes stared at Sean as he said.

Sean smiled and nodded, saying, "I promised you, Mr. Hayes Winters. But Mr. Fabian Winters has given me this task, and I can't let Optimus Security Services' task completion rate drop below 100%.

"Things happen for a reason. Mr. Hayes Winters, you should understand and take your men with you.

"Next time you pick on the Winters family, remember to pick a time when I'm not around. Otherwise, how awkward will it be?"

Hayes' expression changed, but he could not bring himself to fight Sean.

Sean was terrifyingly strong, far beyond what the men he brought with him could handle.
