Chapter 280 - 280 Meeting the Elven Experts

280 Meeting the Elven Experts

Alec and Janrose battled for more than five minutes. Their swords flashed like a mirage as they exchanged moves.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

In the end, Janrose was thrown away after being kicked in the stomach by Alec. She managed to stabilize herself before falling to the ground.

“You lost.” Alec muttered calmly as he sheathed his sword.

Janrose wasn’t disheartened by the defeat. During their first battle, she only lasted for thirty seconds before she lost. This time, she was able to survive for five minutes!

“Dammit! I lost again!” Michael Singler’s handsome face turned ugly as he watched the young prince take away his hard-earned money.

Prince Christopher chuckled lightly as he gave Alec a thumbs up. “Good job, Alec!” He muttered laughingly.

Fast Sword soon returned to the training grounds and their hellish training continued. The young elites suffered terribly under his strict training routine, but none of them complained. They knew that this was for their own good and they also didn’t want to waste this opportunity.

“Take one box each!” Fast Sword said as he took out five small wooden boxes.

.....

The five young elites curiously stared at the boxes as they grabbed one each. When they opened the boxes, they saw a pill lying inside each box.

“Eat the pill!” Fast Sword commanded.

The five young elites stared at each other before eating the pills.

Fast Sword stared at them enviously. He knew what those pills were for he had seen what they were capable of doing. In Aethelwolf’s camp, only meritorious subordinates would receive them. ‘These guys are so lucky...’ He thought to himself.

“This!” Alec was shocked when he sensed the changes in his body. He felt a huge amount of energy being absorbed by His Hegel. The energy then slowly coursed through his cells, strengthening every fiber of his being!

Other than Janrose, the young elites were also by the effects of the pill. They had never eaten such a miraculous pill before and from its shocking efficacy, they couldn’t imagine how much it would go for in the market.

Alec reached the initial stage of Level 3 in one go, while the others also improved by leaps and bounds. Janrose reached the initial stage of Level 3, while the other three reached the peak stage of Level 2!

“What an insane pill!” Michael Singler exclaimed with a flabbergasted look. He cracked his muscles and felt a terrifying power.

The others also inspected their strengths excitedly.

“Not bad! You guys managed to maximize the efficacy of the pill. You are indeed the top talents of the Leone Empire. However, I have to warn you guys.” Fast Sword paused as he put on a serious look. “Everything that happened or will happen during your training must never be disclosed to the public. Do you understand?”

“Yes, sir!” The young elites answered without hesitation. They knew the value of the pill and the risk it carries once it was publicized.

“Good! You are dismissed for today! Remember to come here early tomorrow for your training!” Fast Sword muttered coldly before leaving the training grounds.

After he left, the five young elites cheered happily. They never would have thought that their levels would increase drastically in just a short amount of time.

“King Aethelwolf’s pills are truly impressive! I think he’s already a Level 5 Alchemist!” Michael Singler muttered with a worshipping look. He only admired a few people and Aethelwolf was at the top of the list.

The others nodded their heads in agreement.

“Janrose, you are King Aethelwolf’s Alchemy disciple. Can you tell us if he is already a Level 5 Alchemist?” Grace asked with anticipation.

Janrose revealed a smug look as she said. “Teacher didn’t tell us, but I’ve heard him talking with Sir Rendell about distributing 5th-Grade Pills to the top fighters of the Lassiter Household.”

Hearing this, everyone’s eyes widened.

“That means King Aethelwolf is already a Level 5 Alchemist! After all, there’s no supply of 5th-Grade Pills in our Leone Empire, and even those big empires never sold their 5th-Grade Pills to the public.” Prince Christopher muttered.

Meanwhile, Aenwyn has returned with the elves and Ramiel’s army.

“Take the elven civilians to their temporary dwellings. Inform our workers to build more houses that can accommodate ten thousand people. Sir Ramiel, I’ll let you handle the elven soldiers. Please give them appropriate positions according to their strength.” Aenwyn shouted a series of commands.

“Yes, Miss Aenwyn.”

Aenwyn then turned her gaze to her mother and the three Elders. “Follow me. I’ll take you guys to King Aethelwolf.” She muttered.

“Alright.”

Aenwyn led them inside Aethelwolf’s tortoise-like castle. She then brought them to Aethelwolf’s office which was located on the topmost floor.

“We’re here.” Aenwyn muttered before she knocked on the door.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

“You guys may enter.” A calm and magnetic voice came from inside the room.

Hearing this, Aenwyn opened the door and signaled for everyone to enter.

Queen Irithel and the three Elders stared at the young man with short black hair who was casually reading a book.

Aethelwolf put down the book in his hands and lifted his head, looking at the people behind Aenwyn. “You guys are here. Sit down.” He muttered in a calm tone.

After everyone sat down, Aenwyn introduced the elves she brought with her. “King Aethelwolf, this is my mother, Irithel Aracan, the Queen of the Aracan Kingdom. These three are Elder Dawon, Elder Gild, and Elder Ark.”

Aethelwolf’s lips curved upwards as he looked at these top experts. All of them were in the Heavenly Might Rankings and their strength was unparalleled in the Regalis Continent. This was especially true for Queen Irithel who was ranked 9th on the list. “It’s a pleasure to have you guys.”

“So you are Aethelwolf Lassiter. I heard from my daughter that you are ranked 5th in the Heavenly Might Rankings. Because of you, I’m now ranked 10th on the list. It was said that you fought against a Holy General of Mystic Island and showed unfathomable power. I wonder how true this is...” Queen Irithel muttered with a seductive smile. Her every move was filled with infinite charm that could enrapture the hearts of men.

“Mother...” Aenwyn furrowed her eyebrows as she poked her mother’s waist.

Aethelwolf wasn’t offended by her words. He smiled as he shook his head. “The rumors are exaggerated.”
