Since Lu Li did not move to the sides, the Deaf Taoist brought him away so that Lu Li would not be struck by a bolt of white lightning. Though with the Relic armor on, Lu Li would not lose his life, but he would suffer.
“Squeak, squeak~”
Little White tumbled over on the ground and then ran back to Lu Li. On Lu Li’s shoulder, Little White nodded, indicating that it could survive.
“This little beast is impressive!”
The Deaf Taoist could not help but say. The little beast did not seem strong and it did not even have any vibe of a Beast King. Yet, Little White could stand such horrifying thunderbolts. After all, even a warrior at the initial stage of the Semi-God Realm could not survive the thunderbolts here and might be blasted into dust.
“Little White must have grown more resistant to the thunderbolts after being struck for so many times.”
Lu Li thought to himself. Little White did not begin to be particularly strong, especially when compared to the Dragon Demon. However, after being struck by thunderbolts for many times, Little White had grown resistant. Of course, during the past years, Little White never stopped to refine its body which must have become stronger.
“Swish~”
The sky was covered by glaring lighting again. Little White raised its head to look and dashed off Lu Li’s shoulder. Little White began to run toward a bolt of silver thunderbolt not far away.
“Boom!”
Little White was smashed away. Its body seemed to be burnt but Little White was still fine. Little White could recover fast. Little White must be okay as long as it did not go to the purple, golden, or black thunderbolts.
Lu Li went to a small hill nearby. He used his Relic weapon to dug out a cave and put some Soul Crystals inside. He told Little White, “If your injuries are grave, take a rest here and eat some Soul Crystals to recover.”
Then, Lu Li put a jade talisman in the corner and said, “If you can no longer stand it, bite the jade talisman and I will come up immediately to pick you up.”
“Squeak, squeak~”
Little White nodded. It put its paws on Lu Li, quite unwilling to let Lu Li leave.
“Sure!”
Upon second thought, Lu Li said, “I will stay here and keep you company for a couple of days. Off you go now.”
Lu Li took out the Wicked Bead and brought the Deaf Taoist inside. He stayed in the cave to cultivate. Little White squeaked in delight and then charged out with excitement, searching for thunderbolts all over the place.
Though Lu Li was inside the Wicked Bead, he was still worried about Little White so he kept his psychic power target-focused on Little White. Making sure that Little White would only find the silver thunderbolts, Lu Li was relieved.
They were still at the outer edge of the Prison of Thunder were only white and silver thunderbolts existed and not that densely distributed. Several hours later, Lu Li felt he could rest his mind since he had not seen any purple, golden, or black thunderbolts.
After staying out there for half a day, Little White came back to the cave and swallowed over a dozen Soul Crystals to rest. After two hours, Little White’s injuries were healed and it went out with excitement again.
Lu Li lived here for two days. He now was sure that Little White was safe unless powerful warriors broke into the Prison of Thunder. Lu Li asked the Deaf Taoist and learned that recently there wouldn’t be anyone coming to the Prison of Thunder. Then, Lu Li descended to the Prison of Soul.
Going downward, the trip was not dangerous. In over a dozen days, Lu Li returned to the Prison of Gold.
At the foot of this mountain, Lu Li did not see Chen Tianxian. It was Chen Jin waiting here, along with another man, Lu Feng.
“Lord!”
Chen Jin and Lu Feng were thrilled to see Lu Li coming and both bowed with respect. Blazing Huo had not returned yet. He must still be collecting fire and flames.
“Where is Chen Tianxian?”
Lu Li was unsatisfied. He told Chen Jin to have Chen Tianxian wait for him here. What was Chen Tianxian thinking, disobeying him?
“Lord, can we have some privacy?”
Seeing that Lu Li was unhappy, Chen Jin smiled fawningly. Lu Li took out the Wicked Bead and brought Chen Jin into the inner hall. The latter hesitated to talk because the Deaf Taoist, Lu Renhuang and Patriarch Ye were here.
“State your business!”
Lu Li threw a glance. Chen Jin understood that those here must be on Lu Li’s sides, so he bowed before he replied, “Lord, my great-grandpa is in a small world now. He is trying to open up a passageway to the Divine Imperial Universe. He will get it open in one to two months at most.”
“Eh?”
Lu Li was shocked. The three passageways to the Divine Imperial Universe had all been sealed and it was said that to open the passageways would take at least 10 years. Lu Li had been vexed over the fact. How could he not be shocked when he came across such a piece of news upon returning to the Prison of Gold?
“Are you sure?”
Lu Li glared at Chen Jin. Though Lu Li was sure that Chen Jin would not lie to him about this, he still had doubts.
The Deaf Taoist’s eyes glowed. He frowned as he asked, “Did Chen Tianxian find a small world in spatial cracks of the Divine Imperial Universe?”
“That is right!”
Chen Jin said with certainty, “Great-grandpa found an entrance to a small world and he stole his way in. He took control of the small world and now is secretly trying to open up a passageway.”
“Nicely done!”
The Deaf Taoist nodded. “Chen Tianxian is clever. Such small worlds usually are not known to the outside world and there usually are Yan Family warriors guarding those small worlds. Chen Tianxian must have set his mind on it to be able to take control without others knowing.”
Lu Li was confused. He asked, “Deaf Taoist, why it will take much less time to open up a passageway in the small world when it may cost 10 years from the Prison of Gold?”
Understanding Lu Li’s confusion, the Deaf Taoist took out a piece of paper and drew down something.
He first put a straight vertical line in the middle of the paper as he said, “Lord, this piece of paper represents the space we are in. This line here is the Purgatory of Primordial Chaos!”
“Okay!” Lu Li was interested. He nodded, “Keep going!”
“This is the Prison of Gold!”
The Deaf Taoist put a dot on the line. He drew several circles nearby and continued, “There are some universes next to the Prison of Gold and they are the nine universes. Your Heaven Reverse Universe is also next to the Purgatory of Primordial Chaos but it is at the bottom. Here is the Realm of Paleo-beasts...”
The Deaf Taoist put several circles around the straight line. All of a sudden, the layout of the world became quite clear to Lu Li.
There were, as a matter of fact, many worlds and universes in the space. But not many of them had direct access to the Purgatory of Primordial Chaos.
The universes varied in size. The larger they were, the more stable the space would be, which would make breaking down spatial barriers more difficult.
Purgatory of Primordial Chaos was a miraculous place in existence. To break down a spatial barrier from here was hard. What was more, the Divine Imperial Universe had seals. It was understandable that to break down the spatial barrier from here would take 10 years.
There were two types of small worlds as well. The first kind was the small worlds nearby the universes. Those small worlds and universes were next to each other and there could be access ways. For example, the Deserted World had many access ways to the Heaven Reverse Universe.
However, to go to the Divine Imperial Universe from a small world next to it would not be easy.
The reason was that it would require the spatial barrier of the Divine Imperial Universe to be broken down. However, the Divine Imperial Universe was large and the space was stable. Such spatial barriers would not be brought down within years.
Another kind of small world was the ones in spatial cracks. Those small worlds already existed in a given universe and there would be many access points. To break down the spatial barrier, in this case, would be easy.
Because...
Those small worlds already were inside a certain universe. Here, entering the small world would be entering the space of the Divine Imperial Universe. As long as the small world’s spatial barrier was brought down, access to the Divine Imperial Universe would be open.
