Lu Li came back after only more than half a day. The hundreds of barbarians that went after him disappeared…

The same thing happened again. He stood outside the base camp of the Barbarian Race, pointing his saber to the barbarians from the distance and had on a mocking and provoking smile.

This time, the prince of the Barbarian Race learned from past experiences. He didn’t go out in rage. He knew that once he did, another hundreds of barbarians would die.

The prince was not so pissed now that he was completely humiliated anyways. He prohibited the barbarians from leaving the base camp, regardless of Lu Li’s yelling and provocation. As long as they were in the base camp, Lu Li would not go in.

“Ha, ha, ha!”

Lu Li wielded his saber for a long time but none of the barbarians paid any attention to him. He laughed and yelled in Dragon Roar, “I heard that barbarians are brave warriors. But I am disappointed today. So I see all the brave ones of you have died and the rest of you are only cowards, bastards that prefer life over dishonor.”

Lu Li was speaking the human language which the barbarians could not understand, except for the prince. The prince was fuming with anger and could barely keep the attempt to kill someone down. He stepped forward and shouted, “Bastard of the human kind, don’t run away if you’ve got balls. Do you have the courage to fight with me?”

“Eh?”

Lu Li was just using some random words to provoke them and didn’t know that not only could the royal disciple of the Barbarian Race understand the human language but also speak it.

Lu Li said with a grin, “I am not afraid of a one-on-one battle. You are the royal disciple of the Barbarian Race, aren’t you? Do you have the guts throw your hat into the ring?”

“Of course I do.”

A glint of coldness appeared in the prince’s eyes as he rushed forward. The powerful barbarians protecting him were frightened and went after him.

“Hmm!”

Lu Li said with a snort, “What? Another mass brawl? This is what one-on-one fight means to you barbarians?”

The prince was enraged. He looked at the dozen barbarians behind him and yelled something. He had to use his copper hammer to smash one of them away to stop them. Then he rushed out of the base camp alone amid the worried looks.

Lu Li stepped back slowly. He was still too close to the base camp of the Barbarian Race so he must be careful. Seeing that he was moving back, the royal disciple yelled in rage, “I thought you said you wouldn’t run. Human bastard, stop there and fight with me.”

Lu Li turned a deaf ear to that. He stopped when he reached a small hill about one mile away. Lu Li shouted, “Come on. You are the prince? I think you have enjoyed a quite high status in the Barbarian Race.”

“Hmm!”

The prince answered with pride while dashing forward, “My name is Rui the Iron and I am born in the 963rd generation of the Barbarian Race, descendant of the God of Barbarians. Human bastard, you’d better remember that you will die in the hands of Rui the Iron.”

“Rui the Iron?”

Lu Li pouted. The Fate Wheel emerged from his abdomen. Lu Li inspected Little White in his sleeve with his psychic power and said, “Little White, wake up. We are about to have a big fight.”

Little White and Jiang Qiling were both bequeathed with the divine energy. After it absorbed the divine energy, it had been sleeping. Lu Li woke it up a couple of times before and then it went back to sleep again after those fights. It must still be consuming the divine energy.

Little White had just opened its drowsy eyes and stuck its little head out when Rui the Iron dashed over in rage. Lu Li generated clones right away without minding Little White further.

“Whoosh~”

The more than 60 clones ran to all directions and surrounded Rui the Iron. Every clone had a dancing saber. White glares containing killing intent enveloped Rui the Iron.

Rui the Iron was not in a panic even though he was surrounded by the clones. The black horns on his head lit up. Following that, streaks of thunderbolts were discharged. Centered on him, there was a shield of thunderbolt with a diameter of dozen feet. All the clones that were near the shield collapsed with no exception.

“The descendant of the God of Barbarians is really remarkable!”

Lu Li said to himself and acted more carefully. Royal disciples of the Barbarian Race also had his special skills, just as the royal disciples of the 12 Royal Families at the Central Plains. This prince’s thunderbolts were more powerful than those of regular barbarians. He must have other special means as well.

Rui the Iron ran over in a fast speed. Lu Li was afraid to get close so he kept producing clones and controlled them to surround Rui the Iron. What gave Lu Li a relief was that—the barbarian could not distinguish Lu Li from his clones. Rui the Iron had been attacking in a disorderly manner and he never really hit Lu Li.

“Hoy!”

Rui the Iron’s chains were tougher than those used by regular barbarians. The ones he had were longer and of a dark gold color. He wielded his chains and came after Lu Li’s clones one by one.

“It’s about time.”

Lu Li put his mind at ease now that he had a general sense of Rui the Iron’s abilities. He sent out his psychic power and countless golden needles pierced into Rui the Iron’s head. If they could get into his Soul Pond, the then prince of the Barbarian Race was basically dead.

“Buzzing!”

Over the soul pond of this prince came a dark glare. A black round tripod Ding with many images of fowls and beasts and faintly visible runes on it appeared. The lid kept moving up and down. There was a stream of black air coming out that enveloped the Soul Pond. Upon hitting the black air, the golden needles slowed down. It became more difficult for them to enter Rui the Iron’s Ssoul Pond.

“He does have a treasure to protect his soul!”

Lu Li said to himself but he was not frustrated. Even though the golden needles of psychic power were slowed down they still could penetrate into the Soul Pond.

Lu Li’s Soul Pond glared as he mobilized more psychic power. This time, he didn’t form them into golden needs but 10 knives!

More psychic power surged out like a gentle breeze and surged into the soul of Rui the Iron. Then the 10 knives stabbed at his Soul Pond.

Lu Li could from tens of thousands of golden needles with his psychic power but now the number of knives was only 10. The power contained within could make a huge difference.

As Lu Li had expected!

The knives of psychic power stabbed into the Soul Pond of Rui the Iron. The thunderbolt shield he constructed fell apart right away. The chains and hammer he was wielding stopped and he stood there, perplexed. There were expressions of pain on his face.

“Good!”

Lu Li’s eyes glowed. He rushed on, ready to stab Rui the Iron to death with his whooshing saber.

“Roar, roar~”

The barbarians had almost gone mad, witnessing Rui the Iron standing there still. They could tell that Lu Li had attacked his soul. They were losing their minds thinking Rui the Iron might be killed and began rushing toward Lu Li in a formidable way.

“Too late!”

Lu Li snorted. He flew on his Fate Wheel close to Rui the Iron, swung his saber and cut at Rui the Iron’s head.

“Ha, ha!”

Rui the Iron suddenly opened his eyes. There was a mocking smile on his giant face. He said with a grin, “Human bastard, I am a descendant of the Barbarian God. How can you be so confident to think you can kill me this easily?”

“Buzzing!”

His two horns discharged thunderbolts. One streak surged into his Soul Pond and crushed Lu Li’s psychic power. Another flew out and struck Lu Li…

“This is a set-up!”

Lu Li trembled and so did his soul. He suddenly understood. Rui the Iron had deliberately let his knives of psychic power to get into the Soul Pond so he could find where Lu Li really was so as to…kill him!

“Swish, swish!”

Lu Li was hit by the thunderbolt. He felt pain all over his body. There was a burning smell on his skin and his hair. He began to spasm out uncontrollably.

“Ding of Barbarian God!”

Rui the Iron shouted. Amid a black glare over his head, a small, beautiful round tripod Ding appeared and enlarged. The lid was open. A force from inside enveloped Lu Li.

“Such a slip-up!”

Lu Li flew toward the round tripod Ding uncontrollably and was sucked in. After a glare, the lid integrated with the body. It shrank and flew back to Rui the Iron’s hands.

“Ha, ha, ha, ha!”

Rui the Iron laughed out. He said arrogantly, “Everybody says that we barbarians are developed in our bodies but not our brains. If it was true, we would have died out. How could we have unified the Northern Land of Barbarians? Human punk, you are wrong to underestimate us.”
