Chapter 307 - Beating Two Boys!

Chapter 307 - Beating Two Boys!

Chapter 307 - Beating Two Boys!

As he saw the two boys looking at the girl present in the ground, Javier's aura dropped immensely.

His eyes almost covered with the layers of the frost, couldn't digest the fact at all. A deep line appeared on his forehead when he tried to pass them daggers.

Not only that, but the smile that was present on the boys' faces, was giving him the idea of what exactly they must be thinking.

Without even thinking twice, he moved to the other side of the building.

Javier took over the cover on his head by the cap of his hood. He disappeared in his own building until...the lights of the entire campus were shut within a few minutes.

Young Jennifer, who was currently playing and enjoying the rain, felt the entire campus already black. "Hannah, what...is this.."

"Don't move Jennifer! You shouldn't trip and fall against the ground!" came a distant voice, enough to make her know that her best friend was also nearby.

But the continuous drops of the rain along with the thunderstorm sound were acting as the side effect. Jennifer's smile never left her lips even for a mere second.

Very soon, the lights returned on the campus when they started to enjoy once again. Splashing the water on each other, they were already in the mood for fun. But this broke very soon when all of them heard some noises from the other side of the campus belonging to the boys.

Hannah spoke to Young Jennifer with cautiousness, "Do you think we should go and see?"

"I don't think so. It isn't allowed to go into the boy's dorms this late. On the ground..it is fine because this is common but looking out there...it would be odd.." Jennifer wasn't interested in taking any kind of risk to go and step in the senior's side.

Moreover, if something major happened, teachers might also come to take a look. If they catch them at this hour, they will probably burst over them and sign detention the next day.

But the curiosity under Hannah's nose never faded, "Hmm, you are right. But I want to know!!'' Her annoyance was high. She took a peak but the view was very minor.

Staring at the girl beside her, Jennifer knew she won't get rest until her ears get the wind of the entire mess.? Rolling her eyes, she searched for any boy.

And then, her eyes caught the sight of the nerd who was coming out of the boy's building, "Hey!! You nerdo!"

The boy turned around with a look of shyness in his actions. He looked too timid, holding himself around with the famine look, "W...What do you guys want for me"

Jennifer pulled Hannah along with her when they went near the man. Giving him a fully flashed smile, Jennifer asked first, "You came from the dorm..right?"

"y-Yes.." the boy nodded his head timidly when Jennifer understood that he was scared of them. 'As if I will eat you up?' she can't help but wonder.

Keeping these thoughts aside for a while, Jennifer asked straightforwardly, "So..what happened there? Why are all the boys going up and gathering"

"Yes! There is a crowd, I saw just now!" Hannah also added as they saw, when the man answered with the shutters, "That....two boys..are actually..beaten. We don't know by whom but they are beaten very badly."

"Beaten?" Both Hannah and Jennifer passed each other's looks as if this was surprising. Once again averting their head, they inquired, "Who is beaten? Someone from? the freshers?"

"No...the last year's students. Their faces...t-tuned blue and black…" his speech was enough to make both Hannah and Jennifer alert. Looking in the direction where the other crowd had gathered, they were in a dilemma.

How can a random person just show up and beat someone?

"That man must be… a really bad guy.." Jennifer muttered in between her breath and Hannah instantly agreed to that.

The boy, who was stopped by the girls, just nodded his head in approval of the same, "Those..two seniors are of no use. They are those who bully others..so, I guess, it was best to do so."

Jennifer stared at the boy from up to down to see that he was wearing a large-sized overcoat, that too in the kind of rainfall weather.

It was odd to watch, however, she better knew her limit. At last, when they got their information, the boy led the way and both Jennifer and Hannah were simply shocked to hear the news of the fight.

Unfortunately, it never impacted them as they returned back to their source of happiness, which was rain. Yet a single man from the second floor of the building was looking at the two girls with a fixed gaze.

Young Javier's eyes never moved for a mere second, when he wanted to absorb their faces inside his mind. The smiling face, the light chuckles of hers, and how she swung in happiness. When she jumped in the water, the dirty mud also covered her clothes. Nevertheless, she never cared about makeup, or other things as if this was the short lively joy taking place in her life.

Unknown to anyone, Javier's knuckles were slightly red, with a red fresh-cut present on the other hand.

There was slight pain but it never made him step back in the cry. Instead, a faint smile on his lips kept on growing.

'Tsk… see what a girl made you do, Javier. A girl from the Smiths land..'

….

As time passed in the university, the freshers started to interact with their seniors. Javier started to wear a black hood, with a cap on his forehead. His entire face of his was hidden from all of them since this was used by him to make his face exceptionally hidden.

Except for his eyes, no one can identify, not even his friends. The only two people who were aware of the man behind this mask were Frick and Ryan.

While walking in the direction of their classroom, Frick held a packet of snacks while Ryan and he constantly went round. Javier, as usual, kept silent but his eyes saw through each person they came across in the lobby. 'Is she not here today?'

His heart grew in tension when he looked at his best friend, Frick, asking him to step closer. As per the instructions, Frick raised his eyes, "What do you wanna know?"

"How do you know that I want to know something?" Javier asked, instead of asking the real question. To which, Frick rolled his eyes, "You called me when I was talking with a girl. You won't have done that until you have something to ask about the girl."

Hearing this, Javier's eyes passed him their signs of daggers. But it never made any impact on Frick who ignored them as thin air. "Why don't you just tell me now?"

"I want to know if that Smith girl has attended her class today or not?" Javier asked but that didn't go well with Frick who was utterly confused, "Why? She isn't your business, Javier. Moreover, she is a freshie. You want to get involved with a freshman girl?"

"I never said that I would get involved with her. All I asked was for her presence to know." Javier didn't bulge from the topic but kept it straight. His interest was lingering in the girl and he hadn't intended to hide it either.

As expected by Javier, he saw the frown that curved on Frick's forehead. He wasn't satisfied with his explanation at all, which wasn't new to him.

Instead of pacifying him with his words, Javier kept his hand over his shoulders and patted his back, "Do it for me.."

An exhausted sigh escaped from Frick's;s lips, "Alright." Javier nodded his head but then, Frick came forward with the condition, "This is the last time I'm doing this for you. You better not ask me for this ever again!" Javier vigorously nodded his head.

Unknown to Frick, this wasn't the last, instead just the beginning of the new feelings that emerged in his heart.

Frick left Javier and Ryan before proceeding towards the end of the lobby, to meet a few girls. This wasn't any hidden rumor that Frick was already a famous guy in their history. Ryan stared at Frick's figure at the distance before he averted his head in Javier's direction.

"What did you ask him this time?" Ryan's question was met with silence. When he noted the stagnant eyes, Javier. Which never tore from frick's questions. "You can't hear what he is asking from the girls."

"Neither am Interested to know with whom he talks. I'm more inclined to hear about a certain person, about whom he is talking."

Ryan was puzzled. He waited for Frick to return, which he did soon after. Within a few minutes, this guy already had the information regarding the lady. Frick came forward and faced Javier as he nodded his head.

"You are correct. Maybe your observation is right. The girl isn't here today. Someone told me that she got a bad fever last night and due to the same, she skipped today's lectures.."

"Oh God, don't tell me that this is the same girl Smith's land girl who was interested in getting soaked in the rain the day before yesterday?" Ryan asked with disbelief, in the hope to hear the negative answer.

But then, he met with Javier's still expressions where he showed nothing but emptiness. Frick and Ryan both were eyeing each other, not understanding how this friend of theirs will react now?

Why is even caring about that girl out of nowhere?!

But this wasn't the end of their show when Javier opened his mouth, "Where is she right now?"
