Chapter 335 - Stalker?

At this point, all she faced was confusion in her mind. It was hard to comprehend what they were both doing in this hotel and the lobby of rooms.

"Surely this isn't any meeting of theirs.." she could bet on her life because they appeared so cool and distressed, not the kind of attitude which they carry while going in any meeting.

Without any further delay, Amaira took the elevator to come back on the ground floor to arrive at the reception.

"Um… May I know who is actually staying in room number 302…" she was unsure whether the lady at the desk could help her in this.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but this is against our guidelines. We can't let out the name of the guest to anyone outside." The receptionist made an apologetic face.

"B-but.. it's urgent. Moreover, this entire hotel belongs to the Johnson group. You know my identity as well.." Amaira's desperation was very much clear via her voice.

She wished to learn, as her curiosity got equipped with the same intensity, to know the reason for them.

Was she acting like a stalker? Probably yes, but the unknown uneasiness that gathered in her heart was hard to let go of.

The same part, which was telling her that many things were wrong and she has to make them right, or probably, something about which she is kept in the dark.

Expectedly, the lady at the desk made a slight disapproved face in her direction, giving all hints, "I'm sorry Ms. Johnson but this isn't possible. Yes, if you convince Mr. Johnson, we surely can help you out."

Johnson? Amaira's brain thought about the name, "You mean to say, Charles Johnson?"

"No, Mr. Javier Johnson. He's the one who is handling this property. If he gives us orders to help you, we will surely do that!"

Talking to no one else but Javier's brother? 'If I call him, he will only bash at me and hang the call..' her eyes lowered at the mere thought as she was caught in the web of conflict.

Passing the receptionist a fake smile, she turned around to walk in a daze. 'This is such a mess. I don't even know whom they met. Neither can I ask them directly because if I do..they will think I'm trying to search about them..'

And letting them know about her following them here would be the worst-case she would like to even face that.

Moreover, Ryan's wrath wasn't her cup of tea especially when they have a tough past to deal with always in their mind.

At this possibility crossing her brain, her heart thundered as a pout was formed on her lips. "God….what is this situation.." her plan to get back to the home also failed miserably. "Now, I will have to take the taxi again…"

At this point, she regretted, letting her friend leave her alone here, while she took the cab. With her lips turning into a straight line, she took out her phone to search for any cab present nearby them.

However, her bad luck never ended.

'There is no cab available?!? Why?!' she was sure this was purely her chance. A chance where everything happening was either going against her or probably, nothing in her favor to begin with the day.

Why her?! Why was she feeling lost today? Is there more coincidence that is occurring with her?

Amaira was all over confused and doubtful about her circumstances and the situation she faced currently. As she saw the process of not getting any cabs, a frown curved on her forehead when she lifted her chin to take a look around her.

A deep sigh escaped her lips before she shook her head to remove the negative filled thoughts out.

"Seems like I will have to wait for them to come down…" with this entire thought, Amaira took the couch that was present in the living space of the hotel to sit there and browse her phone.

Thighs were passing by and going, with many people coming near herm, to sit beside her but she never paid any attention.

'Ellen and Ryan will take time…' this was always stagnant in her mind and with the same attitude, Amaira waited here for the next thirty minutes.

Until, from the corner of her eyes, she felt she saw someone appearing out of the elevator.

Immediately, her reflexes worked as she lifted her eyelids from her phone to the above to find Ellen's figure.

'He is there….' Instead of shouting among everyone present, Amaira took her handbag on her shoulders to stand up and run in his direction.

She saw him going out, so did she as she finally came out of the hotel's door to see many cars coming and going.

Yet, she never came across any sight of Ellen who had just appeared and vanished into thin air. "Where can he even go? I just saw him …." she was sure she did, after all, her eyes can't just give such a betrayal to her.

Biting her lips, her gaze moved from all the possible directions in the hope to find him. Unfortunately, it was as if it was solely her imagination.

'Seems like I will have to go back inside and wait for them in that lobby itself…' except this option nothing crossed her mind.

Carrying a heavy heart, with her sour mood, Amaira lowered her face to come back to the hotel.

She was purely distracted, without even noticing the person whom she just passed as her brain worked to recall whether what she came across was a conflict of imagination or did she just let Ellen go?

Yet then, a husky voice pulled her out of her dazzy expressions, where she halted in her steps, as it made her eyes widen.

"Are you trying to follow me as a stalker, Amaira Johnson?"
