“It really is a Spiritual Weapon?” the Palace Lord gasped. “Rumor has it that Spiritual Weapons have their own spirits. Even I’m shaking from the Evil Energy your weapon is emitting. Spiritual Weapons are very rare items in all of Tianwu Kingdom!”

Flashes of jealousy could be seen on the face of the woman standing beside the Palace Lord.

It was every warrior’s dream to own a Spiritual Weapon.

“That’s why I hope I can get the Thousand Years Absolute Zero Ice as soon as possible,” Ye Mo said. “I need it to suppress the spear’s energy. It should also boost my power by a few magnitudes, and when that happens, I can also join the fight with the Pleasure Valley.”

“I get it, but I believe even the Thousand Years Absolute Zero Ice would not be able to achieve what you desire,” the Palace Lord said. “In the Frozen Pond lies a Ten Thousand Years Absolute Zero Ice. If you can get it yourself, then I’ll give it to you as a gift.”

Ye Mo was a young man that could create True Energy Pills and defeat Half-Energy Shaping Realm warriors easily. What was more was that he wielded a Spiritual Weapon by his side. He was a young man with a bright future ahead. That was what made the Palace Lord believe that Ye Mo was worth the investment.

Once Ye Mo got stronger, he would definitely repay A debt to the Palace Lord that would be worth more than the Ten Thousand Years Absolute Zero Ice.

“Thank you!” Ye Mo thanked and bowed to the Palace Lord.

The Palace Lord gave directions to Ye Mo and Cai Ling to a frozen cave that was blocked by a huge ice rock.

With the Palace Lord’s order, the guards triggered a mechanism, and the rock began to move to the side.

“Inside this cave is the Frozen Pond. The thing you’re looking for lies 300 FEET beneath the surface,” the Palace Lord informed. “But it will depend on your luck whether you can find the ice or not. Oh, and a friendly reminder: if you start finding it difficult to withstand the cold, you should get out from the pond immediately.”

The Frozen Pond was a pond formed by billions of pieces of ice. Some had just been in the pond for 10 years, some 100 years, while one of them had been lying there for more than 10,000 years.

All of the ice looked the same on the surface. The only way to differentiate them was by touching them and feeling the cold air that they were emitting. It would take ages just to find a block with a specific piece of ice in it.

The deeper the pond was, the colder it was in that part of the pond. Some even said that the deepest part of the pond was around -150°F. Spirit Cultivating Realm warriors would never dare to stay in the pond for long.

“Don’t worry, I’ll definitely find the Ten Thousand Years Absolute Zero Ice,” Ye Mo said.

“Bing Bing is about to advance to the Energy Shaping Realm,” the Palace Lord said. “She’ll need a Thousand Years Absolute Zero Ice to help with her training. She’ll go down with you too. She’s born with resistance to freezing temperatures and can withstand the cold from the pond. You should listen to her when you’re down there.”

Bing Bing stood beside her father with a smug look on her face, as if entering the pond was just part of her daily routine.

“Duly noted,” Ye Mo replied.

“Be careful,” Cai Ling said.

Even if Ye Mo was stronger than the average warrior, going into the Frozen Pond in search of the Ten Thousand Years Absolute Zero Ice would still be a dangerous feat.

Ye Mo nodded and walked into the cave with Bing Bing. Ye Mo could feel the cold air becoming more intense with every step he took. The air was seeping slowly into his body which made him shake a little.

This pond must be the energy source for the Frozen Palace! Ye Mo thought. If I can absorb some of the energy from the pond, I should be able to wake more of my Dragon Energies!

“Ye Mo, the temperature of the pond is very low,” Bing Bing warned. “You better shield yourself with your energy at all times, or you’ll be in trouble if too much of the cold energy seeps into your body.”

“Okay,” Ye Mo said and nodded. “I think I’ll be fine going up to 300 feet deep. The only thing I’m worried about is whether I will be able to find the ice or not.”

“Even I’ve only come across the Ten Thousand Years Absolute Zero Ice once. The ice floats around 300 feet below the surface somewhere. You’ll have to rely on your luck for this,” Bing Bing said and jumped straight into the pond.

Ye Mo frowned and took off his shirt. With the Sky Blood Spear in his right hand, he followed Bing Bing into the pond.

As soon as Ye Mo was in the pond, he could feel the cold energy starting to penetrate his skin.

Yet the cold was stopped by the layer of protection beneath Ye Mo’s skin.

It was the Rank One Dragon Blood that was protecting Ye Mo at all times. It was sturdy enough to even withstand any Spirit Cultivating Realm warrior’s attack.

Ye Mo dived deeper into the pond like a fish. The deeper he dove, the colder it got.

Ye Mo had to use his Dragon Energies at one point to prevent the intense cold from penetrating his body any further. With the infinite power from the dragons, Ye Mo had nothing to worry about.

Normal warriors would have a hard time staying in the pond for long as they would have to rely on their own energy. As soon as their energy was depleted, they would be instantly frozen in the pond.

Yet Bing Bing was able to jump into the pond like she was just playing with water.

The water had wet Bing Bing’s clothes and they stuck to her body which outlined her beautiful curves. The girl’s body looked weak and fragile as if one squeeze would be enough to snap her in half. Ye Mo stared at her body as he could feel his own body heating up as if he was going to melt the whole Frozen Pond.

Bing Bing could feel the intense stare from Ye Mo and blushed. She turned and glared at Ye Mo before she dove even deeper into the pond.

“Even Half-Energy Shaping Realm warriors would be wary of this cold energy. Having a sturdy body is definitely a necessary criteria to enter this pond!” Ye Mo exclaimed.

He swung his arms and dove another few dozen yards before he stopped.

At the deeper part of the Frozen Pond floated an enormous amount of Absolute Zero Ice, all glowing dim blue light.

Wait, these are all Absolute Zero Ice? How am I suppose to find the one I’m looking for in this absurd amount of ice? Ye Mo thought in his head.

There were more than hundreds of thousands of ice floating around. It was like finding a needle in a haystack.

Since both of them were in the water, they couldn’t speak. Bing Bing could only point at her and then the Absolute Zero Ice, signaling Ye Mo to look through them one by one.

Ye Mo nodded and swam to a piece of ice. The ice shone with a mysterious dim blue color.

Ye Mo touched the ice and could feel a gust of pure cold energy seep into his body. He could tell that it was just a Ten Years Absolute Zero Ice and shook his head. Ye Mo had no luck after going through a few pieces of ice. The oldest he could find was a Hundred Years Absolute Zero Ice.

Ye Mo looked at Bing Bing and she replied by shaking her head.

Ye Mo continued his search until he suddenly heard a weird sound. He raised his head and saw a huge beast swimming towards them at a rapid speed.

The beast had the head of a dragon and the body of a carp. Its huge body was covered with ice and the water rolled every time it shook its tail.

The beast opened its mouth and began to suck in a huge ton of water while pulling Bing Bing in.

“Be careful!” Ye Mo shouted.
