With the Heavenly Frost Charm in his hand, Ye Mo’s confidence in his fight against Man Qi increased tremendously.

He’d focused all three days on training and trying to increase his levels.

The energy was raging about in his body after he’d consumed all 2,000 Stabilizing Pills. If he were normal, his body would’ve exploded. But he wasn’t, and with the help of the Dragon Blood that was lying under his skin, his body was able to withstand the power from the pills.

With his eyes closed, Ye Mo could feel gushes of energy flowing through his body into the Five-Elements Core. The cores turned that energy into Five-Elements Energy and stored them in his Energy Center. The energies became denser under the effect of the pills as all five of his Mortal Gates began to vibrate, as if he was about to advance to the next level.

His Mortal Gates would become stronger if he advanced, and they would be able to withstand more Dragon Energies and help him perform stronger martial techniques.

The cracks on the Flame-Element Core became bigger until it suddenly erupted like a thundercloud, rampaging in Ye Mo’s Energy Center. Even Ling’er who was sleeping at that time woke up from the loud noise. She rubbed her eyes and looked at the Five-Elements Cores that were surrounding the Rising Dragon Pillar. The Flame Core has been lit on fire like a fireball.

The Spirit Cultivating Fifth Realm! Ye Mo shouted in his head as he grasped his fists tightly.

To Ye Mo’s surprise, each of his Mortal Gate could now take on 12 Dragon Energies. The limit for each Mortal Gate had been increasing by one with each advancement in the past, but now it had increased by two.

“It must be the Flame Core’s work,” Ye Mo mumbled to himself. “Maybe I could reach the Energy Shaping Realm when all five cores have fissioned.”

Now that Ye Mo could use up to 60 Dragon Energies at once, he could feel a tremendous amount of power that he’d never felt before. His punch was like stepping on a mine, destroying all the tables around him. The wind that was produced from his punch made a huge hole on the stone wall in front of him.

“Damn!” Ye Mo yelled in amaze of his own power. “I could destroy a Spirit Cultivating Ninth Realm warrior with just a punch!”

Ye Mo’s power was very close to that of a Half-Energy Shaping Realm warrior. With the defense from the Dragon Blood, Ye Mo could defeat Half-Energy Shaping Realm warriors like Man Hu without relying on the absorbing technique from the Rising Dragon Pillar.

While Ye Mo was busy with his training, the plaza saw huge changes over one night.

Five huge arenas and a luxurious audience tower were set up on the plaza that could sit more than 10,000 people.

As the sun rose, warriors in the Limestone City began to warm themselves up, as if lions were waking from their slumber.

Not only was the Limestone Champion List Tournament a chance to get into one of the Three Major Alliances, but it was also a way for some warriors to show their talents. There were quite a few disciples who weren’t strong but had the potential of becoming great warriors. If they could perform well in the tournament, they might get the chance to enter one of the big clans.

The annual tournament was one of the largest events in Limestone City, and the plaza was crowded with people.

Almost all of the disciples from Xiao clan headed to the plaza with Ye Mo following behind them. A few young warriors greeted Ye Mo with a nod when he arrived a the plaza, especially warriors from the Leng clan who smiled at him warmly.

Leng Leng and Leng Feng even rushed to his side to greet him face to face. They exchanged a few encouraging words before going back to their base.

Ye Mo stood lazily at one side as he waited for the tournament to begin. As time slowly passed, the crowd began to expand. Eight disciples from the Qingyun Alliance were busy maintaining the crowd. Ye Mo took a peek at all the different bases and spotted Qin Tianmu and Ye Changsheng.

A commotion came suddenly from the south side, and Ye Mo’s glance followed the gaze of all of the other people. It was the girl in a white robe that Ye Mo had seen before. She walked slowly towards the audience tower with two young male warriors in their 20’s behind her.

All three of them were led by Qin Hao as they entered the luxurious tower and into the VIP box. Xiao Yuanshan and Ye Kuang also followed them into the tower but not into the box.

The three people were representatives from each of the Three Major Alliances. They were there to manage the new recruits. As soon as the tournament ended, they were in charge of handing out badges to the top five participants that would be proof of them being a part of the alliance.

“Silence!” Qin Hao shouted from the tower with all his Energy Shaping Ninth Realm power. “The top five participants from this tournament will be able to represent our city to enter one of the Three Major Alliances. That achievement alone will make all of the people in Limestone City proud. I believe all of you have already read the rules. Before the tournament begins, I want all of you to step into the age-detection magic circle in the middle of the arenas. Let the tournament begin!”

Warriors that were gathered in front of the arenas could feel their blood boiling from excitement. The tournament would decide their fate. It was everything they had been training for up until then.

The warriors roared as the tournament commenced. Yet, no one dared to step onto the arena first since it wasn’t a wise move to do so.

Even Ye Mo remained outside the arena as he wanted to see who had the nerve to step onto the stage first.

All three representatives that were sitting in the VIP box sighed.

“What’s wrong with them?” one of the guys with short hair said. “They look dead.”

“You’re right,” the other guy stated. “Look, not even one of them has the guts to go up first!”

“We shouldn’t underestimate them,” the girl said coldly.

“Yao Yue, you’re one of the best in Qingyun Alliance, and even Lord Xuan Ji has high hopes for you. You shouldn’t waste your time on these weaklings,” the guy with short hair said.

Yao Yue did not comment any further and kept staring at the arenas.

“I’ll go first!” someone suddenly shouted from the crowd and jumped into the magic circle. The result came back and showed that he was indeed 15 years old. He jumped onto one of the arenas.

“Ye Changsheng!” Girls sitting in the crowd began to scream in excitement. Ye Changsheng was the prince charming for most of the girls in the city that was around his age.

“Nice!” Ye Kuang shouted from the audience tower. “Changsheng, don’t go all out! You must not harm anyone.”

“Spirit Cultivating Ninth Realm!” both of the guys in the VIP box shouted at the same time.
