Ethan entered the house with a bruised face. He still looked badly hurt after getting beaten up by Joseph that day.
He greeted Hayden the moment he stepped in. Hayden noticed his bruised face and hesitated before speaking, "Have a seat. Tell me everything you know."
"Well, I don't know anything much. What I know is mostly about Paige Anderson. I don't even recognize Mr. Joseph when I saw him yesterday. I thought he was the gigolo Paige had taken an interest in."
"A gigolo?" Hayden was furious. His eyes were suddenly filled with anger.
Joseph of the Dawson Family was being regarded as a gigolo!
He was Hayden's favorite son, man!
This was infuriating!
"No, it isn't me that called him a gigolo. It was Paige who insisted that he's one." Ethan quickly pushed the blame on Paige, "Paige met Mr. Joseph at a nightclub and had since taken an interest in him by making him her sugar-baby."
"This is unacceptable! Paige must be a messed up woman if she's able to do such a thing!" Charles interrupted. He was being lectured by Hayden the other day and embarrassed himself.
He then went to Ethan and Elizabeth that night. After listening to their suggestions, he had decided to use Paige as a stepping stone to defame Joseph.
Joseph and Paige were very close. Charles planned to let Hayden separate them from each other.
Once Joseph lost the woman he liked, he would most definitely become decadent. As for Paige, she would probably stop acting so arrogant! This sounded like a good plan indeed.
Ethan had already discussed this with Charles and Elizabeth. He then quickly complained about Paige again.
"Her kindness is just pretentious. I only found out now that she is actually very mean. She's definitely not a good person. I saw from the news today that she kicked and punched a pregnant lady. The lady suffered a miscarriage afterward."
"What? She even hit a pregnant lady? That is inhumane!" Hayden was disgusted by the information. Ethan immediately showed Hayden the news.
Seeing the pool of blood and the photo of the lady who was on the ground, Hayden was furious. "Where's Joseph? I'm going to call him for an explanation right now!"
They just wanted to teach Joseph a lesson, but if Joseph came here to provide any explanations, it would create trouble for them. Charles immediately stopped Hayden who was about to give Joseph a call.
"Dad, you'd better not call Joseph. We all know how bad his temper is! If he knows it is Ethan who told you everything, he would definitely beat Ethan up!"
"As if he dares!"
"He already threatened Elizabeth yesterday. He said Ethan should probably avoid showing up in front of him, or else he would beat the crap out of Ethan every time he sees him."
"He's getting rebellious, isn't he?" Hayden became even more provoked.
Charles sighed. "I think Paige is a very complicated woman with bad intentions. I suspect she already knows about Joseph's identity way before, that's why she broke up with Ethan. Now, the two of them are even staying together! Dad, I think Joseph should stay away from a woman like her."
