There were eight of them who were playing cards, but Paige only knew Joseph and Aiden.
All of them knew Michael and greeted him.
They all turned towards Paige and asked, "What a pretty girl! Where did you get her from?"
"I borrowed her from someone else," Michael replied loudly.
A young man on Joseph's left looked at Paige in surprise and asked, "Borrowed? From which club, may I ask?"
"Are we still playing or not?" Joseph asked with an annoyed tone while slapping his cards on the table.
"Oh yes, we sure are. Let's begin!"
Michael also joined the game. Joseph issued three cards to each of them.
After receiving the cards, Michael didn't take any from the stack. Instead, he turned to Paige, "You can help me with that."
"I don't understand this game!"
"You'll get used to it after the first game, just take it," The guy beside Joseph, Lexis Burtos, said.
Paige had no choice but to help Michael pick a card. Michael glimpsed at the card and then he laughed out loud, "With this luck, I can easily take all the chips on this table."
Sure enough, after everyone showed their cards, Paige's was the biggest and all the chips naturally became hers.
After playing two rounds, Michael's phone rang. He patted Paige on the shoulder and said, "Keep playing. I'll come back soon after I finish this call."
After Michael left, they played three rounds.
This time, Paige lost all the rounds and all her chips were gone.
During the fourth round, Paige's cards were the smallest again. Lexis, who had no chips and was sitting beside Joseph laughed, "Sweetheart, you ran out of money?"
Everyone was looking at her and Paige didn't know what to do, "Why don't we wait until Michael comes back?"
"What for? Let's make it this way. Those who lose will choose to either strip or drink. Starting from you. So what's it gonna be?"
Someone already poured a whole glass full of wine. Paige initially planned to drink.

Lexis laughed and was delighted, "Come on, girl, strip! Take off your shirt!"
"I choose to drink this time!" Paige was unwilling to take off her clothes. She was wearing a dress with thin straps on her shoulder. If she took it off, that meant that she would be naked!
"No, you have to follow the rules. You can't change what you choose in the beginning. Take off your
dress!" The people at the table all looked as if they were waiting for a show.
Paige blushed and looked at Joseph again.
However, he still ignored her. He picked up the cigarette in his hand and slowly took a breath in.
His indifference made Paige feel heartbroken for some reason. This was the result she wanted, but he was able to let go and move on so easily. She never expected that anyway!
