Abbie was furious, but there was nothing else she could do. Her brother had never been so stern with her, so she had no choice but to listen to him.
She had experienced her card getting cut off before, so she didn't want to risk it happening again. She then left Climax Space in annoyance.
On her way back, she called Paige, "Paige, Joseph is truly b*stard! I just went to Climax Space and checked upon them. I know who the woman is."
"Who is it?"
"Have you heard of the talented daughter of the Anthony family? Her name is Paisley and she is Joseph's new lover.
"How is this possible?" Paige was shocked.
"I thought it was impossible as well, but I had just confirmed it."
"Did Joseph admit that he's in a relationship with Paisley?" Paige asked shakily.
"He didn't admit it, but he denied your relationship. When I asked him, he said that you guys have already broken up. Doesn't this mean the same thing?"
Abbie didn't want to make Paige feel worse either. But since Joseph denied their relationship, there was no use pondering over it.
She would rather let Paige hurt for a short while than let Joseph put her in agony for a longer period of time, "What do you plan to do, Paige?"
After a while of silence, Paige said, "I don't know."
"I think you should get ready to give him up. This isn't any ordinary woman, man. It's the talented and beautiful Paisley Anthony."

After hanging up, Paige laid back down on her bed. However, she couldn't fall back asleep.
The scene of her arguing with Joseph flashed in her mind. She admitted that she was a bit harsh with him in a fit of anger. But did he have to be so narrow-minded and heartless?
He said that he would treat her like a queen and he would be good to her for the rest of her life. At the end of the day, it was just sweet words that guys used to coax women.
Luckily, she had never believed him completely. Fine!
They should just go their separate ways from now on.
Aiden returned to the room in Climax Space after Abbie left.
Joseph held a cigarette in his hand and continued throwing the dice as if nothing happened.
Aiden then walked over and sat down. He nudged Joseph with his elbow and said, "I'm sorry about earlier. I've spoilt Abbie too much."
"It's fine. I won't take it to heart, " Joseph answered with a faint smile.
Aiden knew that he meant what he said since they were as close as brothers.
The only reason he apologized was that Paisley was beside them. Hence, he had to do it out of courtesy.
There was a faint smile on Joseph's face. He seemed to be fine as before, but Aiden caught a glimmer of sadness in his eyes.
Joseph must be really unhappy about something. Or else, he wouldn't have been out of the room for such a long time.
Joseph was exactly like him. The more unhappy he was, the more he would try to act normal.
He was worried about him. But he couldn't say much when Paisley was still there. So he took a look at his watch and said, "It's getting late, should we call it a day?"
"Yes, let's go," Michael agreed.
Then, they walked out and called for their chauffeurs and assistants to drive them back as they couldn't
drive after having a few drinks. Once Paisley got on Joseph's car, he said to Bobby, "Send Ms. Anthony back first."
