Sophia added some medicine to the mango juice and asked the secretary to send it to Paige. Then she went back to her office to wait for good news. However, before the good news came, an e-mail was sent by the secretary from the chairman's office.

"From now on, Paige would be the Assistant General Manager of the Anderson Group."

Sophia was confused when she saw the email.

How did she hold the position suddenly?

Liam was not stupid. How could he let her become the Assistant General Manager if he wanted to inherit her property?

If that was the case, why would he ask the secretary to notify everyone in the company?

Paige went to her mother's old office after she left. It had been left untouched for a long time, so it was covered with dust. The cleaner was called by the secretary to clean the room up.

Paige crossed her arms and looked around.

She asked the secretary to order some flowers and let out a sigh of relief as she sat on the chair.

It was a minor victory for her today, but it wasn't the time to be proud. The people in this company were all Liam's people, and their respect towards her would only be superficial.

If she wanted to stand firm, she had to put her own people in place. She thought of Lamont and she hoped that he surprised her.

Thinking about it, she heard hurried footsteps coming from the corridor, and soon the footsteps stopped at the door.

Sophia's blood was boiling so her words were vicious. Paige smiled and said, "Am I not worthy or are you? Does this company belong to the Anderson family or the Martin?"

"Hey, for it to be under the Martin, it's not something that's impossible," Sophia smiled provocatively, "Paige, don't you know that my mother is pregnant with a boy? My dad doesn't have a son yet, and this company must be handed over to a son. Isn't the company's future name obvious enough?"
